"YOU SEEN THE VIDEO... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR....? Came across GG and the Brothers of Soul and instantly thought, we need her at our wedding. They know how to get a party pumping. We are massive Motown fans and GG hit all our favourites effortlessly and our guest are still talking about them to this day. They are happy to accommodate any request and with this we had our first dance with the band singing live...you can’t buy memories like this. We know we are going to book them again for another party, we just need an excuse to have a party. Highly recommend them and I am sure you won’t be disappointed. Thanks GG for making our day."

"Following a huge achievement of winning a prestigious industry award, we arranged for a secret day of celebrations for our 100 employees at our offices. We arranged for The Ace Jazz Band to kick off the celebrations by entering our office playing the most energetic and uplifting music which was a wonderful surprise to staff who eagerly jumped up out of their seats to follow the marching band and dance their way around the office. The place was 'buzzing' everyone LOVED it. We had numerous surprises for everyone but The Ace Jazz Band was by far the highlight and what people remember the most about the day. They are fantastic. You can't help but get up on your feet and dance along. We will definitely be hiring them again for future events - we can't wait for them to play for us again! "

"I was so excited when I found Absolute band's website and saw their repertoire and videos of them playing, it was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We booked them originally for June 2020, then moved to April 2021, then again moved to July 2021! Geoff was so kind and understanding and flexible throughout, navigating wedding season in a pandemic and making sure that we could have the numbers of guests we wanted there. They played on 3rd July 2021 and the dancefloor was absolutely banging! Because of covid we had to have an outside dancefloor - they were so flexible and played at the edge of the marquee facing out, whilst we all danced on a patio under a gazebo. It was truly magic. Our guests are a huge mix of ages and the dancefloor was rammed the entire time they were playing. We were running late and they were so flexible by doing an extra long set for us before the music had to turn off. They played all our favourite songs, and played a couple of requests that weren't on their repertoire. I cannot recommend them enough, they are really well priced for the standard of their performance, and I would book them again in an instant! "Big Smoke Brass caught my eye from a cover they don’t even have up anymore and they lived up to literally everything I wanted. Our dinner overran by two hours and true to professionalism they played as long as our venue would allow, launching in as soon as they could - literally every single guest I’ve spoken to since my wedding complimented me on my brilliant choice of band. They even sent us an arrangement of our first dance ahead of time so we could practise to it, and they worked really hard to make our event completely perfect, even tailoring a parade style entrance on the fly! I could not compliment them more. I wish I could get married again so that I can hire them again, but I guess I’ll just have to think grander with my celebrations from here on out to get them back!"

"I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"

"Debbie was fantastic from the word go, very professional and friendly, asking all about our plans and songs we liked or disliked and our favourite music types and eras. Debbie and Fernando arrived in great form and right from the first song they had our guests tapping their feet and dancing. Their lighting and sound was really professional. We had a fantastic evening and all our guests said they had a fabulous night and how much they loved the music. We would highly recommend Debbie and Fernando and we would definitely book them again.
