"We booked Magenta Strings as a duo to play during the drinks & canapés at our wedding. From the moment we first contacted them, through to our special day, they were very helpful and professional. On the day, they played a great mix of classic and modern songs, including a special request from the father of the bride. We would definitely recommend booking them. "

"Rachel was a dream! She performed at our wedding in July at Eastwell Manor and turned up exquisitely dressed. Our wedding was black tie and she fitted in perfectly! She performed before, during and after our wedding breakfast and was a complete hit. She sung all of our favourite songs beautifully and got the crowd up and dancing at all the right points. She even got another singer from the crowd to sing with her which was a major highlight from the day! I’ve seen Rachel perform many times now and would always recommend her 100% and will only go to her for any entertainment. She is utterly wonderful!"

"Just a note to thank you so much for last Saturday. You and the band were superb! You played with such energy which got everyone including the reluctant ones onto the floor. Your caller was lovely and very good humoured and patient with us which made a big difference too. "Hi Russ. A quick note to say we were delighted with The Newland Seekers at our joint 70th birthday party at the Bishops Palace in Wells last Saturday. We are renowned for our parties so you had a tough act to follow but, despite Nev's slight sore throat, you created a great atmosphere and everyone thought the music was fantastic. It was especially good for me as you kindly allowed me to run through a couple of songs in advance of the party so I could re-live my youth as an aged rocker. This made it special for me and I’d like to thank you all for accommodating me in such a welcoming fashion. Well done and I have no hesitation in recommending you for similar events. "I have attended The Groove Primitive performances a few times through out the past few years, most notabaly at BarLove Portobello & Room 43 Lavender Hill. Thay are a superb collective of musicians led by Eddie Abdullah. The play funk, soul, jazz, groove & reggae, creating an amazing dance-inspired groove. Unique arrangements abound along with Eddie's own fresh, inventive ideas. Sublime vocals are also prominent and they interact with audience in a very personal, inclusive way. Very highly recommended! 10/10"

"If you don’t book this guy you will seriously regret it! He sang at my 40th birthday and he was so good. Huge set list and really read the room. I paid for him to do 3 sets which I really felt worked. The first set was chilled and people were just getting into it. 2nd set we were really getting going and by the 3rd we were absolutely jumping on the dance floor. We will likely hire him again for my husbands 40th. My friends and family are still talking about him. Book him now! "
