Review Centre: Covers Bands

"Picking a band for your wedding is always nerve wracking, but without a doubt we couldn’t have picked a better group if we’d tried!! The music was spot on, the guys all looked the part (which went down perfectly with our tipi theme) and the dance floor was full! What more could you ask for?! We had the full band and, having not actually heard the demo beforehand, they exceeded our expectations. They also learnt one of the songs from the bride’s Dad’s glam rock days to surprise him which went down a storm! Communication leading up to the day was great and George even took the time out to come and find us on the day to chat in between sets! Don’t think twice! Book these guys, they are a fantastic group and we would have them again in a heartbeat!"

"Can't thank Kiki & the Noughtie boyz enough 🙏, they performed their hearts out 🎵 I had heard their showreel but the live performance blew that out of the water!! The audience LOVED them & are looking forward to having them back in the future. keep doing what your doing guys, your smashing it ❤"

"The Mysteries are absolutely fantastic! Played a huge range of songs for both young and old! Was the highlight of the party - highly recommend for any event ! V talented and super professional- you won’t book a better band for your event ! They didn’t do covers they are musicians and they made each song uniquely their own - thankyou !"

"The Royal Union are great such a talented band and their performance was stunning. The lead singer has a superb voice and really entertained our guests.They had so many people up on the dance floor right from the off all the way to the very end. We’d happily buy tickets to see them in concert and take all our mates along."

"Where do you start with this amazing group of people? We booked our wedding at 4 months’ notice and we had a very clear idea of the type of day we wanted. However, because of the short notice we were worried we might not be able to create exactly what we wanted. After booking the legal formalities we started to look at entertainment. We did some research and came across Taylormade Wedding band. We watched some trailers and decided they were exactly what we were looking for. However, would they be available at short notice? They were, and you have no idea how grateful we were. From the first contact to the day itself their passion and professionalism has been obvious. Carley is a dream to deal with and filled us with confidence. We went to the showcase and they were even better live than in their online promotion stuff. On the day itself they did so much to create the vibe we were after for our wedding. Carley has such an amazing beautiful voice she made people cry during the ceremony (including the groom!) They worked tirelessly all day to keep the mood and atmosphere perfect and in the evening were amazing. I don’t think the dance floor emptied from the first song to the last. In between Matt did an amazing job with the DJ set and kept the mood exactly as we wanted it. He even turned his hand to tambourine when our boys surprised their mum with a Saxophone piece! Nothing was too much trouble and he even played the Bollywood playlist we asked for. This band was the perfect accompaniment for our wedding day, so hardworking and accommodating but above all brilliant. "

"I am always a little jealous when I hear that Sonia and her band are playing elsewhere, I’d like to be there to enjoy their music. We’ve had the pleasure of their faultless and magical sound for both large crowds (over 300 people) and intimate crowds as well; each time they have left the customers happy and wanting more, we can’t wait for their next performance here."

"Firstly, thank you so much to The Covered, you were amazing! Thank you. xx The initial enquiry was promptly responded to. We traded a few e mails and a phone call, I got a sense from our first contact that you were approachable, friendly and passionate about delivering the best performance you could for your client. On the day of the event, you were present at the venue nearly 3 hours before the start of the performance. Whilst I struggled with helium balloons (I now know I could never be a children's entertainer!!) I could see and hear how much attention to detail went into the preparation for your performance. I think it's worth mentioning that your sound engineer, Ivan, is an absolute expert. I felt very lucky to see and hear your passion as all of the band prepared for the performance. During the course of the set up, I had the opportunity to catch up with individual band members. You were all so down to earth and friendly it really set the scene for an inclusive and friendly evening. Coming on to the performance. Stunning!! Incredible and stunning. The stage backdrop was very attractive and complimented the performance. The drums! Super fantastic to watch and hear. There was so much to see and hear from The Covered, all of it fantastic! One of the guests told me later, "The band were great, certainly the best I have heard for many years". To be fair, the compliments for your performance were non stop. If you are reading this review as a potential client, don't hesitate!! Book this amazing band before they get snapped up. Lastly, thank you John, and thanks to your band, your sound engineer and your backing vocalist. We had such a heart warming family celebration at which you were the front and centre. Hiring The Covered was a privilege. If we are to do the same again we will be in touch xxxx"
