" This is the third year we have had the pleasure of Black Velvet Band providing our entertainment for Burns Night. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "We were delighted to have a special secret act turn up for our daughters wedding at The Woolacombe Bay Hotel. Our future son-in-law mentioned about two days before the wedding that he would love a “Blues Brothers” tribute band for the wedding music, but knew he’d left it too late to book. We decided to try our hardest to accommodate this request. After contacting Chris from "Those Singing Waiters and 106 Miles to Chicago", we were delighted to find they could travel down to us for the day, and surprise the happy couple. They came into the afray, just as the desserts were being served, and everyone thought it was a couple of the hotel staff trying to entertain the wedding party off the cuff. But it soon became apparent that these two were very professional, and were extremely funny. The event got livelier later when in the second set, they took to the stage as the “Blues Brothers”, and our daughters were invited to do a turn, with “Shout” and “Rescue Me”. We have had a long association within the singing entertainment circuit, with two of our daughters doing solo performing, one of our son-in-laws playing guitar in a band and one of our relatives and a guest at the function is Benny Gallagher of “Gallagher and Lyle” fame. He agreed the afternoon and evening was a total success. We wouldn’t hesitate to re-book this act in the future, when we’ve got over the shock of this years wedding!! "

"A great day, made even better by the efforts and skills of It's No' Reel. We all loved the jigs, reels and much needed help to get the dances right. Tom and the band went that extra yard to help with the first dance and farewell dance. Much appreciated and highly recommended."

"The band were absolutely first class and they had the dancefloor going all night. They even let one of the guests do her songs during the interval which was amazing too. Would definitely book them again and recommend them to anyone wanting to put on a top party. Thanks alot guys. Great equipment, great musicians, great sound and top music choice, we loved it."

"The band were excellent lots of my friends commented how much they enjoyed them. They were very flexible and played two additional sets that helped create an atmosphere that my friends did not want to leave. The band had everyone dancing from the first song to the last one four hours later."

"Jamboree James was a superstar! He turned up early to set up at the pub, he sang amazingly and he got the crowd dancing in no time. My friends and family have complimented on how well he did. Thank you Jim for making my husband's birthday party a party to remember!"

"What a fantastic night we had with 106 Miles to Chicago entertaining us all evening. They created a fun, party atmosphere and integrated with the audience at all times, getting them singing, dancing and generally joining in. We will definitely be booking them again – by popular demand!"

"We cannot thank The Nomads enough for making our wedding so special and I cannot emphasise enough how incredible they were. Everybody absolutely LOVED them & their set list covered so many of our requests. Their acoustic set was perfect as our guests arrived at the venue reception and milled around but the evening set stole the show and was absolutely exceptional. They surpassed every expectation and I think the fact that our guests were desperate for multiple encores says it all! These guys were friendly and professional and we would have absolutely zero hesitation recommending them to anyone! Thank you so so much. "

"Kelly & Graham were a great duo for our Family Surprise 70th Birthday party. Kelly kindly shared their extensive repertoire before the event and we selected a few fave songs for the night. They read the room really well, selecting great tunes for our audience along with the back ground music between sets. It was perfect for our gathering where people wanted to catch up, be entertained and get on their feet to dance! Great communications too. Hope to have the excuse to book them again! "Crimson Sky were a brilliant band for our wedding, they were so friendly and professional to deal with before and during the wedding. They made everything run smoothly and any requests were carried out with no fuss. They really got the party going with a mixture of classics and newer songs that were a hit with all our guests. We loved them and would recommend booking them for any occasion! Great band x "
