"Modern Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding. I asked for a string trio. They followed my instructions to the letter and were very cooperative during the event and in the run up to it. They brilliantly played additional pieces of music that were not on their repertoire. They also beautifully played a mixture of classical and popular songs. All guests commented how well they played and what a fantastic idea it was to have a live trio at our wedding. The trio were smiley and extremely friendly and reliable on our wedding day. I would recommend their services to my best of friends and family and would employ their services again should I have another event. Very well done and thank you for making our special day even more special. "

"The most amazing music experience for our wedding day, setting the scene as though we were in a fairytale. I cannot recommend Kim and the string quartet enough for how immaculate the music was, and for playing for a considerably large chunk of the day. Of all the elements of the wedding day, we had by far the most comments about how incredible the string quartet were. With such a vast array of music in their repertoire it made it such an enjoyable experience to hear the different songs throughout the day. Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable!"

You are such an asset to the community! The orchestral players are such a nice bunch of people to work with and it is great to have many of the same players back over and over again. As usual it was a great pleasure to work with you. Thank you for bringing the Cherubini to life for us. The orchestral colour adds so much to what is a rarely performed work and you did it superbly. We were very privileged to have such a talented pianist for the Tchaikovsky Concerto, which I know is also a challenge for the orchestra to play, especially with only an hour and a quarter to rehearse it! - But we did it and the audience were thrilled - the standing ovation was testament to that. "The 440 String Quartet suited my needs exactly and delivered far beyond expectations! They are incredibly professional and I was astounded by how fast they were able to pick up new music. I needed a quartet for a concert where the time frame was limited and this group met it with ease. Extremely well priced and enthusiastic players! Will definitely be using their services again!
