Review Centre: Covers Bands

"Thank you to Disco Infernos for helping to make my wedding the incredible day it was. One of my only individual responsibilities for the wedding was organising the music, so I felt a good deal of pressure to make sure it was right. Disco Infernos was impressive due to its range of quality artists to choose from, but while I cannot comment on other acts, I cannot speak highly enough of Disco Infernos. They were friendly and professional in the build up, but most importantly performed amazingly on the night. My major concern was keeping the dance floor full and having the energy high throughout the last few hours of the night. I think it would be fair to say the marquee was bursting with energy throughout, and I don't think I've ever seen a fuller dance floor at a wedding. I am so pleased that I booked the extra sax and trumpet, and that the band played mainly the soul/motown and disco/funk parts of their repertoire. It meant that everyone was up dancing from 20 year olds to the bride's 91 year old Grandma. They even let a friend of mine butcher 'Wonderful Tonight' during their break! Really couldn't have been better in any way, other than an extra 3 hours dancing! 5 stars. "

" Incredible. These guys literally rocked our wedding and I cannot tell you how many guests were constantly on the dance floor grooving away! Every song was a hit after hit - thank you to all of you in the band, you literally made it a night to remember! "

"I went along for the Blondie songs as I am a big fan. I was surprised at how much they sound like them, I loved it. I also really enjoyed the other songs they did. I had a great night. "

"Cannot rate this band highly enough! House of Chords were really friendly and professional from the start. They were really helpful when putting together an appropriate set and gave us a lot of confidence. The quality of the set was brilliant and the dance floor was full throughout. "Couldn’t recommend the Verge enough. Fantastic atmosphere all evening and they even arranged an acoustic version of Blink 182 for our first dance which was just perfect! If you are looking for live music for a party or a wedding I’d say you can’t go wrong with these great guys! Thanks for a great evening of entertainment!"

"We had seen Back2Skool perform at two of our friends birthday parties and knew that when Tracy could seamlessly go between singing Elvis to Lizzo they were the band for us! We booked them for my husbands 60th birthday party. Tracy communicated regularly through the build up to the party sharing set lists and ideas as well as learning a few special songs that we wanted. On the day of the party they set up on time and professionally having everything they needed. We danced the night away with three live sets and three DJ sets. It was brilliant and we have had so many messages saying how great the band were and it made the party. All totally seamless from booking to performance! Can’t recommend enough. "

"Jo & I wanted to drop you a line and say a HUGE THANK YOU!!!!!! for such a wonderful selection of music and providing such a great atmosphere for our wedding!!! We have been to so many weddings where there's a band playing and no-one on the dance floor which is such a shame, but I have to say Debbie got everyone bopping along!!! I was totally amazed by your energy & you sounded amazing too!!! We had such a fantastic night, and such a big part of that was down to you - if I hadn't had to talk to a few people through the evening I would have spent the whole night on the dance floor!!! loved it!!!! We also have to tell you that we have had sooo many compliments about the band (even my greek gran who is only really ever exposed to greek music!!). Everyone had a really good night & loved the energy you all gave out... please pass the compliments on to the rest of the band!"

"Viewpoint provided jazz during our wedding reception while guests had food and drinks. People were wandering in and out of the room while the guys played and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. They played some brilliant reworked popular songs and were more than happy for people to get up and dance. We received many compliments about the music and would highly recommend them for any wedding or function events."

"The Cheers were excellent, entertaining and extremely professional. Our wedding dinner and speeches overran by an hour but they waited patiently to set up and then got everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the evening. All the guests I have spoken to thoroughly enjoyed the band and the music and had a great time dancing. The songs they selected were fantastic and the whole atmosphere for the night was fun and happy. It was such a busy day and the Cheers were incredibly helpful in letting us know their set times and making announcements such as the bride and groom's first dance or departure which took some of the pressure off our best man so he could enjoy himself too. Would definitely recommend them!"
