"These guys were brilliant!!! They were completely brilliant performers and had the marquee rocking all night. Technically brilliant but more than that- in tune with our guests and reading the room! "Modern Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding. I asked for a string trio. They followed my instructions to the letter and were very cooperative during the event and in the run up to it. They brilliantly played additional pieces of music that were not on their repertoire. They also beautifully played a mixture of classical and popular songs. All guests commented how well they played and what a fantastic idea it was to have a live trio at our wedding. The trio were smiley and extremely friendly and reliable on our wedding day. I would recommend their services to my best of friends and family and would employ their services again should I have another event. Very well done and thank you for making our special day even more special. "

"I saw these guys at a public event, I must say it was good to see some real country licks and sounds! Really liked them, authentic and if you like the more traditional foot tapping stuff, you will love these! Although they did actually play some Post Malone and Morgan Wallen"

"We booked Swing Gitan for our wedding on 7 September. We had seen them a couple of times around Nottingham and really liked their style and music. On the day itself, they played for about 2 hours with a short break in the middle. We really loved their music and it fit in well with our venue, which was in a barn and marquee on a farm. They were great at replying to all our questions which was one less thing to worry about when planning a wedding! All our guests really enjoyed them too; their music appeals across all ages and we had lots of comments that it was great to hear something a bit different at a wedding. We wouldn't hesitate to book them for another occasion!"

"We hired them to help celebrate my 50th birthday party. Great communication in the run up to the event, huge repertoire of songs to choose from. They even learnt a new song for my event. "Just a few words to say how much everyone enjoyed your band's playing at Gillian and Jeremy's wedding on Saturday evening. Your calling of the dances was excellent and you succeeded in getting lots of folk on to the dance floor. Many had never been to a ceilidh before, but you made it so easy for them to understand the steps. It was a super evening from start to finish and much fun was had by all.
