"They were a huge highlight to our wedding day last weekend. Everyone all night asked us how we found Straight Up and nothing was too much trouble for them! They learnt our first dance song beautifully and were just so lovely to work with. Would 100% book these guys again, thankyou!!! "

"We engaged Dave and Natalie (‘Small Days’) for our annual dinner and dance. They played for over an hour and a half whilst our 200 guests were eating. Their music selection was a wonderful mixture of vocal jazz and early blues with the occasional instrumental from Dave. Natalie has a wonderful voice and she used it to brilliant effect. Dave’s guitar accompaniments were truly excellent. Furthermore, the music struck a perfect balance between being entertaining for listeners whilst not being intrusive up on the conversation of diners. "Enjoyed many years on the road with Dale Gibson, as trumpet player with the Drifters, the legend that was Johnny Moore, always said that Dale, was one of the best players he ever worked with here or Stateside!"

"These guys blew us away. They were ridiculously good, they let our friend sing a song, they were just seamless and endlessly talented. We would recommend these guys to anyone who wants real finger-clicking music that creates a wonderful atmosphere and pours magic into your big night. These guys blew us away. Seriously, they were amazing. We could not have loved Dai and the guys more."

"Professional, fun and excellent musicians. This band is superb in every way! They played a selection of high-energy, swinging tunes which got everyone up and dancing. The lead singer was adept at reading the crowd, sensing what got people moving and tailoring the music accordingly, making a fun night for all involved. I might have to plan another party, just so I can hire them again!"
