"Absolutely fabulous evening with The Newland Seekers - everyone who came to our works dinner & dance loved this band (all ages from 18-80). Really amazing musicians (no backing tracks - real music!) On a personal note - extremely friendly people to deal with and very good communications. Also very flexible on timings - as the hotel we held our function at was very slow on the food service which delayed us getting onto the dancefloor, but the band were very patient waiting in the sidelines. From the minute they started playing the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way for the rest of the evening. Overall a brilliant evening of entertainment and we would most definitely recommend this band and we are so happy that we picked them."

"Carl and I were honoured to have you perform at our wedding at Stockwith Mill. Wow! We couldn’t have picked anyone better and more fitting and you were a massive contributor to our perfect day. The cover of Home for our first dance was amazing and better than I would have ever imagined, I have played it over and over. So many of our guests complimented on how amazing you were. I would recommend you to anyone and everyone. Your voice is unique and I can’t thank you enough for making our day perfect. Mr and Mrs Hughes"

"The BV's performed in June 2016 at my parents Golden Wedding celebration and we couldn't have asked for better. Their playlist was excellent and fitted perfectly for the occasion. They set up up promptly and were excellent at involving my parents and the younger guests appropriately making it a very special and enjoyable evening. I actually can't recommend them any higher!"

"Thank you [and the band] so much for making our Family Party such a success on Saturday night. Everyone was thrilled with the swing music - and to have such a range of instruments and two fantastic singers was the tops. [I have to say the clarinet really adds to the bands sound - it is terrific]. I mentioned to a few people that we had wondered if more 'pop' music with a DJ and recorded music would have been preferred at the party. The unanimous answer was that nothing beats live music and your style of swing music was irresistible at getting everyone [from 4 to 84] dancing. Your band really made our party the success it was - very many thanks. With all good wishes"

"Where do I start? Well I wanted a band for my 50th Birthday Party. A band that would suit all ages, as 8-86 year olds present, along with a fair few teenagers.....and get everyone up and dancing and having fun. I had only seen a few videos online and read the reviews, so it felt like a gamble. But it wasn't at all and I couldn't have asked for more! They were perfect! And everyone did enjoy it, including the teenagers and everyone else. I had so many compliments about the band and people asking where I had found them etc. I really couldn't have been happier - well apart from the fact it was my birthday and I had to speak to everyone, so really would have liked more time dancing and enjoying the band myself! Kris is very charismatic and all the band got involved in the fun. The crowd loved it when they came off stage and played in amongst them dancing and Kris's moves and costume changes etc. Kris was easy to deal with, all communications acknowledged and responded to. I got to write the set list too, plus they provided a play list between their sets. There was really nothing to fault. I would highly recommended this band for a fantastic, full of fun and dancing party! THANK YOU ALL! "

"‘Hi Helen, we just wanted to feedback how amazing we thought the band were when they played at our Post Wedding Party last night. Their version of Elbow’s 'One Day Like This' for our first dance was so special, totally brilliant and we loved it. The rest of the songs throughout the evening were just as great and we loved them all, a great mix of oldies and newbies. We have had so much positive feedback from our guests, from young to old everyone has commented on how great the band was, even the hotel bar staff said how good they were and that they were one of the best bands they had seen. The evening flew by and we just wish they could have played all night too and we would definitely book them again if we get an excuse. Many thanks to all of the band members and to yourself for making the whole process, from start to finish, go so smoothly and for being so helpful and flexible, really nice bunch of guys :)"

"Lady Luck absolutely made our wedding day! Do not hesitate to book, the band are incredible and really made the evening party. We honestly cannot recommend them enough. The venue we booked regularly have good musicians and even they said the Lady Luck were the best band they'd had at their venue. 10/10."

She was professional, talented and punctual and we received many compliments on our choice of live music from our guests during the course of the evening.
