"I just wanted to send you a message to say how fantastic Alba Ceilidh Band were at our party on Saturday night - a large number of our guests (quite a lot of whom are musicians) commented on how good the band were. And they couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating with the way the evening ran. Thanks again - we would definitely recommend this band to friends and family."

"What a FABULOUS band! Stargazers had such a great energy and had everyone up dancing on the dance floor all night (not to mention the fantastic talent they all have!!!). From start to finish, the band were so helpful and I cannot recommend them enough. My dad had always dreamed of playing his saxophone at my wedding and Stargazers’s manager gladly corresponded with him prior to the wedding to make this happen- it was truly amazing! All of our guests were astonished by the talent and wondered how on Earth we had found such a fantastic band! They truly made it a memorable day for not only ourselves, but all of our guests. "Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

" Just wanted to thank the Three Tones for playing at my daughters wedding this week. Your music accompanying her day reception of fizz and cake was perfect ! Many of our guests commented how much they enjoyed listening to the band as we relaxed and chatted in the sunshine. Thank you for speaking with me beforehand and you listened to what we wanted and delivered it with skill and aplomb! I hoped we were in safe hands but it was great that you were thoroughly professional in your approach arriving early and playing in 30 degree heat without complaint! We would have no hesitation in recommending the Three Tones to anyone ! "

"Kodiak Avenue performed for us in our garden on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. Jayne's lovely voice soured above the murmur of the guests, complemented by the clever guitar accompaniment. Many friends and family complimented us on our choice. We let them choose their own set, but they were open to our suggestions and genuinely anxious to please. We loved having them perform for us and recommend them highly. It made a great day something special."

"The band were fantastic and everyone had a great time dancing all night. Two people have said when they need a band for birthdays or parties they will be booking The Hot Hats. Alfie was great in planning the playlist for the DJ option and the songs he played live were just great! Thank you for a great night."

"I have seen these guys play many times, at weddings and bar venues, and to this day, will always go out of my way to get their gigs. Their vibe is irresistible: their voices, their harmonies, their song choices, and their chemistry.. all of it. They bring something a little different to each event and gig, and they are genuinely the most gorgeous people to work with. They know their stuff, and they are incredibly talented. The whole package!"

"We hired the Edinburgh Ceilidh Trio for our wedding and they were fantastic, we had 3 hours of playing and I don't think the dance floor was empty once. They were great at explaining the dances to the guests, allowing them to quickly learn the dances and have a go. Many of the guests - most of which had never done a ceilidh before - all reported how much fun they had. "

"These guys were just amazing. We had a four piece for 2 sets of 2 hours at our wedding celebration in July 2022 and they were absolutely perfect. So many of our guests commented on how great they were. One of the things we looked for in a band was true musicality and they delivered on that in every way - they are first and foremost great musicians. Their repertoire is huge and they were really proactive in gathering information to make sure they played the most suitable tracks for us, the playlist they provided for between the sets went down really well with everyone, and they were easy to contact and make plans with before the event.
