"“Absolutely loved this band! They looked and sounded incredible! Completely worth every penny and more! If like us you appreciate good music, played well and don’t want to compromise on it for your wedding then I would strongly recommend hiring this band. Every person I spoke to afterwards said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard and wanted their details. The dance floor was packed from start to finish whilst we got our funk on! "Tashara performed twice on our Piano Stage at Hope Festival this year. We all hope she will return next year as she was one of the highlights of the weekend. All of us that were fortunate enough to hear her sing were astounded and delighted by the quality of her performance and charmed by the warmth of her personality. Tashara, we would love you to help us celebrate Hope Festival's 25th anniversary next year, you were brilliant!"

"Just a quick, and rather late, note to say a very Big Thank You to you and the team for the wonderful Saturday evening that you provided. We had an absolutely amazing time, and lots of the guests have said that they did too. We were really delighted to see so many people dancing, I don't think that anyone was able to restrain themselves. It was just a pity that the whole evening had to come to an end."

"Gemma & Phil were recommended to me by a friend who had heard them perform live, after hearing their videos and chatting to Gemma I was quickly convinced they would be perfect for my wedding day! They didn’t just provide us with music but with a whole atmosphere, Gemma was so interactive with my guests she became a part of the celebrations, she was able to perform all requests with no prior notice and kept all guests happy! Gemma and her voice is even better than I could have imagined live! She had us all on our feet singing along and making this memory one I will never forget. I cannot thank them enough for filling my day with love, laughter and those amazing lungs! From a very happy customer - thank you Gemma & Phil!"

"It was such a great night, thank you so much! Our venue was on the smaller side but so pleased you guys made it work with the smaller drum set etc. Everyone was very impressed with the band and the ratio of free dancing to choreographed line dances was perfect. A very successful surprise birthday hoedown!"

"Funk it Up! played two amazing sets at our International Women’s Day Dance in Whitstable in March 2024. They were fantastic from beginning to end! Communication was great before the gig and they were friendly, accessible and professional throughout. They played a wide range of fabulous music which was spot on and had all our guests dancing and singing along. All the band are great musicians but what a coup to have such a fantastic, confident woman at the top of her game on lead vocals, epitomising the theme of this event. We’ve had such positive comments since the gig and I can’t recommend this band highly enough."

"Kiki and her team were absolutely fantastic right from the start. We spotted her during a live music night at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe and thought she would be perfect for our wedding. All communications were handled professionally and made you feel comfortable and flexible during the planning process. My guests are still talking about how great the evening entertainment was. "The booking process was easy and flawless, I particularly liked being able to ring and talk to the agent. Dermot and his friend are very talented and made the wedding. They played Irish ballads through the meal and then burst into Irish jigs after the first dance. Dermot was flexible and worked well with our DJ. I will love to book him again at some point."

"We hope you're all well and recovered from Saturday night? Wow. We could not have asked for a more perfect band to play at our wedding - all of our guests were blown away and have been consistently commenting that you are the best band they have ever seen. It was incredible! We had the best day of our lives and you were all such a huge part of that. I don't remember ever seeing an empty dance floor and have the blisters to prove it!! We will be recommending you to everyone we meet! Thanks again. "

"Dave and Rich were an amazing addition to our wedding. They were easy to communicate with from the start and little fuss in setting up. Their set was fantastic, getting the crowd going at all points, and even learning a song to cater to the Bride's side of the family. I would 100% hire them to play at an event again. 10/10 thank you for making our day special. James and Alex."
