"Danny and Catherine played at our wedding a few weeks ago, and I cannot recommend them enough. They play a great range of songs, tailored to your preferences, are great fun, and worked the audience magnificently, getting everyone dancing from the three year-olds to the seventy three year-olds. Before booking, I checked out the clips on you-tube, and compared them with lots of other bands, and no-one else came close. They lived up to, and surpassed, our expectations. "If you’re looking for a wedding band that will truly bring the house down, look no further than Kiki and The Noughtie Boyz. From start to finish, they were nothing short of sensational! We had the five-piece band—singer, guitar, drums, bass, and saxophone—and every single musician was unbelievably talented. They had our guests on their feet all night, delivering perfectly crafted medleys and two electrifying 50-minute sets that blended nostalgia with pure party energy. The crowd was buzzing! A special shoutout to the incredible Mumager, Kirsty, who made the entire process seamless. She helped us curate the perfect setlist and even worked in a surprise rap section for the Bride and I to perform - Kanye West’s verse from American Boy. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any better, Kiki took over as DJ. She struck the perfect balance between our pre-planned playlist, guest requests, and her own impeccable intuition, knowing exactly when to mix things up. Kiki and The Noughtie Boyz weren’t just a wedding band—they were the heart of our night. If you’re considering booking them, don’t hesitate. They are pure star quality, and we couldn’t have asked for better!"

"The Upbeats, Rachel and Peter, are wonderful. We spent 9 days on the Star Legend with them cruising from Venice to Athens. They really get to know the passengers and take requests to customize their performances. On top of their talent, they are exceptional people with wicked senses of humuor! They made our trip that much more memorable! Thank you!!"

"The band played at our wedding a couple of weeks ago and were fantastic! So many of our guests commented on how good they were and it was such a brilliant feeling to stand back from the dance floor and see it full with everyone having an amazing time! The guys were lovely and Lindsay was a massive help in the run up. Massive thank you for contributing to the happy memories we have from the day!"

"We've so enjoyed having Blackbeard's Tea Party along at our events that they're now our "go to" band every time we have a ceilidh. They bring energy, musical talent and a sense of fun every time they play. Our ceilidh events are always a success, and that's mainly down to this great group of musicians. If you want a lively "proper" ceilidh band, then look no further than Blackbeard's Tea Party."

"I am just writing to say a huge thanks once again for all of the committee's hard work and support in organising our Brahms Requiem Concert last night- a real masterwork and so beautifully and detailed in its craftsmanship. I thought the Chamber Orchestra under Anne Tupling's leadership complemented the choir really way, never threatening to obscure or overwhelm the vocal sound but nurturing and supporting in all the best ways. "

"What an amazing wedding band! We were quite nervous about choosing a band for our wedding especially given we couldn't see them live due to Covid. But we definitely 100% made the right decision and they were exactly what we were looking for and so much more! The band were really easy to communicate with and really listened to what we wanted. They took the time to get to know us, a bit about our day and our music preferences before building their set list. On the day they were so professional and the music was incredible. To have our first dance performed live was just amazing and we really couldn't have asked for more! All of our guests have given such amazing comments about them and they kept the dance floor going all night - nobody wanted the night to end! Thank you SO much House of Chords - you guys are brilliant and we would highly highly recommend! Katie and Dan x"

"We booked Double Talkin' Jive to entertain at Kirk Hallam Social Club one Sunday afternoon and will definitely be having them back! What a talented pair of guy's. Their fantastic mix of music and faultless performance had us dancing all afternoon! Superb guitar playing, stunning vocals and great personalities too! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, these lads know how to cater for any age group or taste in music, have great stage presence and a wonderful sense of humour. I'd highly recommend them as suitable for any occasion and guarantee you won't be disappointed! Thanks again boys, can't wait till next time!"
