Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"I would thoroughly recommend Lazy Marmalade to anyone having a party/wedding/celebration. Our usual band were already booked for the date that we needed and recommended them – we have not been disappointed. We booked them for a company party at Duxford Imperial War Museum and they were fantastic – had us up dancing all night with live music and DJing. It was a great mix of music that was enjoyed by all. They were very amenable, didn’t mind our Singing waiters using their equipment and liaised direct with the venue and our entertainers to make sure that the evening went smoothly. Thank you so my Alex & Jon for helping to make our party so special!"

"I just wanted to say thanks so much, firstly for persuading me to go with it, and of course to the guys for a truly amazing performance. They really were absolutely superb, fantastic performance but also so very professional and got it just right, you could see the sound, lights, mood and everything was being tweaked all the time. I was so worried we'd gone a bit long for such a small do, but they were totally relaxed and played brilliantly, they were perfect for us, they even looked like they were enjoying themselves :-) At one point I looked up to see the whole place literally jumping up and down. It was certainly a rocking night and one to remember. So, a heartfelt thank you, and if you're planning any public gigs please do let me know as we'd love to see them again. Sophy x"

"The band were superb - especially given the massive delay before you were able to perform, and the fact that we forgot to bring the interval playlist(s)! "We recently had The Good Citizens play at our wedding reception and we can’t recommend them enough- we got to work with them to choose the songs we wanted and they even played a special request that we had heard them perform before. They got everyone up on the dance floor during the whole performance and everyone commented on how great they were, including the staff at the venue and our photographer 💕 thank you so much for bringing the energy and making it so much fun for us, we had the most perfect time,, love from the Gavins xxx"

That music has become hugely important to me ever since. You played so beautifully, set the tone wonderfully and I know worked with the coordinator to play outside during the reception.
