Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"In Edinburgh, this is a rare chance to hear beautiful bossa nova music band. Today I was walking on the street to go somewhere for enduring an another cloudy summer day and right after cross the load the rhythm of bossa nova came out from a Bar near by. I got just carried away with the sound then just went in the bar alone ehich I have never tried to do, lol. (As a married and an introvert Asian woman perhaps) Sérgio was playing guitar with a drummer and their bossa nova playing got me almost tears came up. It was so beautiful moment for me. How deadly I have been wishing to hear bossa nova in Edinburgh. I have no idea why I haven’t been able to find his name when I google any type of bossa nova concert or live event in Edinburgh while I am living here almost 3 years. :-( Their music even brought sunshine back here in Scotland at the end of their performing today. lol. So appreciate for that I could have their great performing today under the sunshine in summer! I agree with the previous reply as he wrote that many people at bar or restaurant don’t listen to the music. However, at least today I can tell you that there was only their music and I in my universe at the moment and it was full of life feeling. Thank you Sérgio!"

"Dear Colette & Co, I just want to say thank you so much for performing at my Dads 90th birthday party. I was nervous about the whole event especially as it was a surprise party. But your lovely encouraging words leading up to the day helped me feel it was all going to be Ok and it was - better than OK! The music was wonderful and he absolutely loved it. " I just wanted to put it in writing that I received loads of compliments about Trip for Biscuits. Many came to me today to say that they thought you were amazing. Everyone loved it, at times the dance floor was too small to accommodate all the fun and frolics and that was always my hope and mission. You are all such talented musicians and we are fortunate that you were able to play. It will go down in history as one of the best parties at the club ever and that is in large part due to the atmosphere created by the music. We really appreciated your sets, be they the piano and vocals or the six piece band. Many people kept referring to the brilliance of your arrangements of songs that were so familiar and loved by us all: particular favourites: right said Fred, jungle book, horny but there were others! Anyway, I hope that on the back of this, you will get more custom."

"What an amazing duo ❤️ I recently got married and hired HayLee to perform both during the ceremony and also our meal on the wedding day! They were fantastic! Throughout the day I had so many guests mentioning how good these two were, both finding the perfect songs for mood and moment but also how talented they both are! They are lovely people and so easy to work with, fully understanding what we wanted from them to make our day so special! I couldn't speak more highly of these two and would definitely recommend them to anyone hosting a party or wedding that is in need of quality musicians. 🎶"

"Joanne sang at our wedding reception... with me on guitar. It was a surprise for my wife, and involved much "secret" practice during the preceding weeks! Jo was incredibly accommodating and patient. Her voice is something special, and really brought a new dimension to the songs we played. My new wife, and our families, were blown away. A perfect performance... highly recommended!"

"Somerset Soul were absolutely amazing. I knew they would be good from the videos, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone has been talking about how good they were ever since. Unbelievable talent aside (I truly mean it- unbelievable!) They were just wicked to deal with from start to finish, true professionals but totally personable and everything you could want! Rebecca is a dream vocalist, and the guys are fab. Top tier music selections and medleys. The dj set / request hour was wicked too and music in between. They vibed off the crowd and the crowd, them! If you are reading this ... Take it as a sign to book them! You won't regret it. 10/10 impressive, i couldn't have asked for more. We love you guys! Xx "
