"Both Alex (Purple Swing) and LMM were great. Was kept well informed and the whole thing was seamless. "Firstly I would like to just point out that I am not one to leave comments and secondly I was hesitant to hire a Bagpiper from the internet…. But my word was Mr Bill James worth it!!! Having served with the Highlanders and being Scottish, with a lot of Scots attending my wedding. I originally asked friends within the Regiment to Pipe at my wife and my Wedding, Due to work related matters, they could not attend, which left us without a piper. Searching the internet, I found a Piper, but again due to commitments, he too could not attend, but suggested Mr James. From the start, my wife, myself and our guests, were amazed. He was fantastic. His playing of the Pipes, I am afraid to say, would have put even some of the best within the Regiment to shame!!! The perfect manner in which he conducted the pipes and himself was world class! His presentation, friendly and very professional manner stood out! (He was even at the Church before me)!! Would I recommend Mr James….? YES…. I would strongly recommend the Gentleman!!! Without any hesitation I will be keeping his details for any further function or event that we have!!!!! Thank you very much Mr Bill James, you certainly completed our wedding! To that we are both grateful. "

"Where do I start? Well I wanted a band for my 50th Birthday Party. A band that would suit all ages, as 8-86 year olds present, along with a fair few teenagers.....and get everyone up and dancing and having fun. I had only seen a few videos online and read the reviews, so it felt like a gamble. But it wasn't at all and I couldn't have asked for more! They were perfect! And everyone did enjoy it, including the teenagers and everyone else. I had so many compliments about the band and people asking where I had found them etc. I really couldn't have been happier - well apart from the fact it was my birthday and I had to speak to everyone, so really would have liked more time dancing and enjoying the band myself! Kris is very charismatic and all the band got involved in the fun. The crowd loved it when they came off stage and played in amongst them dancing and Kris's moves and costume changes etc. Kris was easy to deal with, all communications acknowledged and responded to. I got to write the set list too, plus they provided a play list between their sets. There was really nothing to fault. I would highly recommended this band for a fantastic, full of fun and dancing party! THANK YOU ALL! "

"What a lovely bunch of chaps. We were worried when we were told that frontman Jeremy had been taken ill a few days before our wedding day. But thankfully Sam stepped in to save the day. All band members arrived on time, were super friendly and chatty, and put on a terrific show despite the frankly insane 30 degree heat of our wedding day. Sam even took the time to quickly learn a very special, unusual request that we'd asked the band to play, and he totally pulled it out of the bag. Thank you so much for trekking all the way to Surrey to play for us. "

"I can't thank the whole band enough got the amazing music and atmosphere they created during our wedding party in Edinburgh. Their mix of old and modern songs worked in perfectly with my vintage theme and was definitely one of the highlights of my night watching them perform. The BV's are a band I would love to see play again and I will be looking out for some of their regular gigs in Edinburgh to head along to. Thanks so much for helping to make my wedding party something special!"

"Ollie was fantastic - honestly, people haven't stopped telling us how good his voice is and how great his playing was. (and a few of the ladies might have mentioned he's not bad in the looks department too!) He was super flexible, very easy to work with, promptly arrived and with absolutely minimal input required from us and he was happy to crack on with anything to help the night become a success. You won't regret booking someone of his talent, we promise :) "

"Thank you so much Rhiannon! You were amazing! So professional. The stage set up was astounding, we were only a small group, however you performed like it was an audience of 200. We were a mixed bag of ladies aged 25+ to 55 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed your music. Not only did you have us all up dancing, your beautiful nature shone through too. It’s wonderful to have someone who is passionate about what they do and also see how much they love it! Well done Rhiannon you were a blast from the past. xxx"

"The band were absolutely incredible. So relaxed, but focussed just the same and had the immediate ability to play without a set list from us. But to judge the room and play. Amazing music and the guests were equally blown away"
