"We just wanted to say a massive thank you to yourself and the band for Saturday. The band were excellent, got all the guests involved with the music and made the night really special. They were also very friendly and happy to be flexible with the time delays. Thanks again, it was a pleasure working with you throughout and we will be sure to recommend Absolute Company to anyone who needs a good band. "

"After not having much luck finding the perfect band for our wedding, we came across Indigo Charm. They were so incredibly helpful in suggesting some bands and one fit the bill perfectly (Indigo Charm). Rhona's communication and help prior to the wedding was absolutely faultless and soon put our mind to rest about the booking. Chatting to Rhona in the run up to the big day, made me so excited to hear Indigo Charm play, she knew exactly what we were after. Hearing them on the night was better than anything we could have imagined, it was like a very intimate concert and by the end of the night, every person was on the dance floor; we did not leave it all night! "Thanks Ben. Really great music and everyone said how great you guys were. Thanks again so much. The tip was the least I could do - you all deserved it. Best, Mark"

"Rachael and I wanted to say thank you for an amazing performance on the night of our wedding and the thorough professionalism and flexibility you showed from the time we booked the band. Our day didn't go to plan, as you probably remember (I didn't expect to be doing my speech to anyone but day guests, let alone the evening guests and the band) but the fact you were so flexible and played for the best part of 2 hours solid, helped make it the fantastic day that it was. "We hired the Upbeats Duo for my wifes 50th birthday party and they were genuinely fantastic. Communication throughout the booking process and run up to the party was first class. They arrived on time and were set-up and ready to go exactly to the timetable we had agreed. The performance itself was really good and they had added a couple of my wife's favourites into the set. We were a fairly small group of fifty but that did not dampen the Upbeats enthusiasm. If you booked them for an event I can't see how you would be disappointed."

"One of the hidden treasures of London is the range of talent that exists on the folk and acoustic scene that rarely get the acclaim they deserve. Three London based bands that excel at performing Eastern European/Balkan Music are Szapora, Mukka and Beskydy, each of whom are worth looking out for. Nine strong Beskydy perform songs and tunes from across Eastern Europe and beyond, in fact looking at the sources on their cd listing is almost like a tour around that part of Europe, from Macedonia to Hungary via Galicia and Bulgaria and taking a detour through Slovakia. The bands name itself comes from the range of mountains that run through the centre of former Czechoslovakia which according to the band has heavily influenced their musical choices whilst they turn their hand to music from a range of sources (excellantly). The first track is a Macedonian song, Jovano, Jovanke (click here to hear the song) and the range of Joanna Fosters vocal skills are further displayed in the three Slovakian songs that make up track 4, from the slow Janosik to the more up beat cheery Anicka Dusicka and A Ja Taka Dzivocka although Foster and the band manage to intertwine the tunes with sufficient skill so the songs merge as one. Again Track 9 is a duet with Accordian player, Peter Murphy, joining Foster on the Macedonian song Iz Dolu, along with some damned fine fiddling. The range of Beskydys musical skills are illustrated well by the instrumental tracks ranging from the delightful Slovakian Waltzes (Track 5) to the slightly more manic Tropanka from Bulgaria (track 10) and onto the ordered upbeat and furious synthesis between sax, fiddle and accordian that is Tantz, Tantz Yiddelekh (a wonderful Galician Jewish tune), yet again garunteed to result in limb movement, a delightful fusion of fiddles and saxaphone, furiously creating a wonderful atmosphere one that demands a physical response. One very minor complaint is the sleeve of the CD, it would be nice (or do I just lead a very shallow empty life) to have some information/lyrics or even translations of the songs, something about the origins of the tracks. That said its more than possible for bands with large bank accounts to produce nice extensive sleeves but not so easy for bands whose talents lie in their music rather than some slick marketing agencies. It would be impossible to identify one part of this cd that could be said to stand out more than the rest. The band have produced an album that is thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish - the question that comes to the fore when listening to this is when is the follow up going to be available?"

"A very quick note to say many thanks for your performance on Friday, it was wonderful and I have received many comments from people saying how much they enjoyed it. On a personal note thank you for singing I Could Have Danced All Night, My Fair Lady is one of my favourite films, I was singing along with you. I will definitely recommend you if I’m ever asked for about a singing waiter act. Have a Happy Christmas and New Year!"

"Blue Jewel played at our wedding two weeks ago and they were absolutely fantastic. They were the highlight of the wedding party for us and for many of the wedding guests. Lots of people joined in with the energetic music. Clear instructions for the dances made it easy for everyone to join in. Apart from how fun the celeidh itself was, the thing that we appreciated most of all about Blue Jewel - and the thing that stands out about them - is that it was so easy and stress-free to organise. A couple of emails prior to the wedding to confirm timings and cost (which was very reasonable), and then they turned up on time, were very polite and flexible about us running late with the rest of the wedding, played brilliant music and got everyone up dancing. There was no fuss or stress whatsoever. Absolutely brilliant. We would recommend Blue Jewel to anyone. "

"What a fantastic band. Mark and his group were brilliant - everything we had hoped for. Mark did a solo acoustic set at the beginning, which was the perfect backdrop to people arriving and chatting. Then he and the band played 2 brilliant sets, getting everyone on the dancefloor. Mark was a brilliant communicator - listened to our requests and took them into account for the sets. He was also brilliant at engaging with the party. Top marks - would 100% recommend!"

"H&R acoustics played at our wedding and they were great. They play a wide repertoire of songs, including jazz, soul and Latin music, both ballads and more uptempo numbers. Highly professional duo and there was fantastic feedback from the guests. They are also very easy to deal with, which made our wedding preparations that bit easier. We’d definitely book H&R again! "

"We booked The Good Citizens as our wedding band, they were amazing and brought such a fantastic vibe to the whole evening. We had our first dance to them which was really special, and after that the dance floor was full all night. They played a brilliant mix of music that everyone loved and we had so many compliments from our guests. They really made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend!"

"We couldn’t recommend The Leathernecks highly enough. Booked for our recent joint 50th birthday party, they made the night. A dance floor packed from minute one, and every song nailed to perfection. So many compliments have followed, all very rightly deserved. The quality of the music was fantastic. The professionalism when dealing with them before, during and after was of the highest order. We and many of the other guests can’t wait to see them perform again. 51st birthday party anyone??"

"I just want to say thank you so much for making our wedding so wonderful! Everybody is still talking about how amazing you were and how you made the drinks reception relaxed and fun! Dancing before 6pm, even before the wedding breakfast - now that is a good wedding in my eyes!!! I believe my bridesmaid has also booked you for her wedding now in March! So look forward to seeing you then! Thanks again!"
