"Myself and my husband booked Alex and Jon to play at our wedding last week and they were fantastic! I heard them play at a wedding fair and just loved their sound and promptly booked them. Running up to the wedding they were incredibly professional and very good at communicating via email about details, song choices, running of the day and payment. They arrived in plenty of time and played for our ceremony and drinks reception and just really perfected the day for us and we had so many compliments from guests about them. They're a really friendly, professional and great quality band that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you again! "

"We were absolutely delighted to have The Swing Zippers play at our wedding. Communication was great throughout, and though weddings can be stressful to manage, working with Elliot and Vic was a breeze. They read the energy of the room and event perfectly, and their music was the perfect addition to a fantastic evening. "Fire & Rain played at my 60th birthday party on board the Edwardian river steamer the Windsor Belle on the River Thames. They were brilliant. They played a selection of mellow and more upbeat songs across the decades. The music was not intrusive but more than just background which is what we wanted. They were very easy to deal with both in the pre-event organisation and on the day. I would certainly recommend them to play at your event."

You were wonderful from the very start - always so patient and friendly when discussing our music choices and we really appreciated it that you learnt our first dance :) All our guests loved your music and everyone kept saying how talented, energetic and amazing your all are!! Your energy and passion for music is infectious and we couldn't stop dancing all night which is exactly what we wanted! We very heartily recommend you to anyone who wants to make their big day extra special and wishes to add a sprinkle of vibrancy, good humour and most of all lots of dancing to their wedding!!! "Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"

"We hired Platinum for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the service they provided. Easy and thoughtful communication before the big day, punctual arrival etc, but much more importantly - the music was AMAZING! So many of our guests commented on how fantastic the band were and we completely agree! Amazing vocals, band, repertoire and they performed our first dance so beautifully! Plus they are all so lovely and friendly, I would highly recommend!!"

"‘The Covered’ were fantastic for my Mum’s 70s/80s themed birthday party. We chose them from the great reviews they have online, and were certainly not disappointed. John was very responsive to all emails, and was able to accommodate all of our song requests either with the band themselves or the playlist he created for us. We were very impressed with the set up of the 6 piece band (plus their own sound engineer), and their early arrival to make sure everything was sorted before guests arrived. Throughout the night they were incredibly flexible to changes to our planned schedule e.g. starting slightly later to accommodate slower eaters! This is before we even mention their actual performance which was brilliant - both lead singers had great voices and the sound quality was just what we were looking for. We would definitely hire them again!"
