Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Where do I start? Well I wanted a band for my 50th Birthday Party. A band that would suit all ages, as 8-86 year olds present, along with a fair few teenagers.....and get everyone up and dancing and having fun. I had only seen a few videos online and read the reviews, so it felt like a gamble. But it wasn't at all and I couldn't have asked for more! They were perfect! And everyone did enjoy it, including the teenagers and everyone else. I had so many compliments about the band and people asking where I had found them etc. I really couldn't have been happier - well apart from the fact it was my birthday and I had to speak to everyone, so really would have liked more time dancing and enjoying the band myself! Kris is very charismatic and all the band got involved in the fun. The crowd loved it when they came off stage and played in amongst them dancing and Kris's moves and costume changes etc. Kris was easy to deal with, all communications acknowledged and responded to. I got to write the set list too, plus they provided a play list between their sets. There was really nothing to fault. I would highly recommended this band for a fantastic, full of fun and dancing party! THANK YOU ALL! "

"You played at our friend’s wedding in December (Eddie and Jess) and I wanted to get in touch to say how brilliant you were. The choice of music was bang on and it looked like you guys were also having a blast which made it even more fun for us! You are the best band that I have seen live and we were definitely all gutted when the night came to an end. Thank you so much and I hope to see you perform again soon!"

"Unknown to me before the performance, John and his instrumental companions produced a wonderful prelude to the well known band, T'Pau. John has a very melodic voice and performs his songs with great feeling and passion. I think that it is fair to say that he was a great surprise to the audience and very enthusiastically appreciated. How lucky we are in Britain to have such a wealth of talent and how lucky for Bewdley and Worcestershire that we have such a depth of people with musical connections who can bring such acts to this small town. Not forgetting the army of volunteers who enthusiastically assist in the organisation and smooth running of events. Well done Bewdley!"

"I just cant tell you enough just how amazing Glitz n Glamour were. We've had the most amazing night ever, it was awesome, unbelievable! "We booked SWB off a recommendation from our venue and they did not disappoint! High energy from start to finish, they ensured the dance floor was full, everyone had a great time dancing the night away and 3 months on, guests are still telling us what a great time they had and how brilliant the band were. We would highly recommend booking SWB for your wedding. You can be certain that the atmosphere would never fall flat and everyone would have a fab time. Got our tickets booked for their Leeds gig for my birthday weekend and we can’t wait."

"The vibe and atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for, they are brilliant performers and lots of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed it. We know some of the timings ended up changing and the guys were really flexible which made our night so much easier, and even though we had a hiccup with accessing our playlists they took our requests for the last songs which was really great to choose in the moment what we wanted. We loved it and are very happy we chose the band - and have recommended them to a friend of a friend :)"

"Vitula String Quartet were absolutely brilliant at our wedding. They played during the ceremony and drinks reception and all of their music sounded beautiful - we requested quite a lot of modern songs and they all sounded amazing! Nick was very responsive and communicative before the day which helped put our mind at rest - and our guests really enjoyed the music! Thank you so much for helping to make our day perfect. I'd definitely recommend Vitula String Quartet for anyone looking to book musicians for an event. "

"Halfpenny Duo were fantastic. Really professional, really adaptable to slight timing changes on the night and just altogether 2 lovely people who made our anniversary party that bit more special. They were really kind enough to learn a song which was mine and my wife’s first dance as a married couple. Not a popular song on their set list but they learnt it for us and it was beautiful. "I kid you not – Kitty Galactic are outstanding. All of our guests at my wife’s 40th private party commented on their excellent performance and fantastic range of songs that they delivered to perfection. The dance floor was packed all night and the band engaged with everyone from our 8 year olds to those well let’s say a little older. We were so impressed that we are now already looking for another excuse to book them! Thank you so much for a great night Alan and Layla. "
