"We asked Ceol Beag to come and play for an event in Gateshead where most people hadn't Ceilidh'd before. The band did an amazing job of getting everyone involved - the reviews of the evening were amazing from everyone who came. I would highly recommend asking Ceol Beag to come to your event."

You guys were literally awesome and I can't tell you how many people just kept saying to me 'the band is INCREDIBLE!'. Also thank you for performing our first dance song specially for us - I know it wasn't part of your usual repertoire and it was completely beautiful! I hope you had a safe journey home. "A wonderful band. The caller was great and made everyone feel very comfortable. A wonderful evening for the whole family and friends ranging from 3 year olds to 80 year olds. Everyone could join in. Turned up on time and very polite nice lads. Would highly recommend."

"Highly recommend Blue Jewel - they are a lively group and helped to make our wedding reception a fun and memorable one. When we first got in touch, Steve got back to us quickly and was very accommodating. The guys even learnt a couple of new songs to play as a medley for our first dance, with no fuss but great effort! :-)"

"The band played at our wedding on Saturday. All of the guests commented on how good they were… wow absolutely brilliant. They were very accommodating with our song request for our first dance, a song they don’t usually sing but absolutely smashed it. Would we recommend them? Without a shadow of a doubt. The evening reception wouldn’t have been the same without them."

"Just a quick big up for the band. The guys were awesome and everyone at our Christmas party loved the whole interaction with the crowd and the choice of songs. They were totally professional and loved the fact they stayed for a drink afterwards and mixed with the party guests and chatted. A great night had by all. "

"Hired for a Ceilidh at our wedding. Super easy to organise and on the day the band and callers were lovely. Adapted very quickly when everyone was getting too hot and we managed to do the rest of the sets outside which was amazing."
