Review Centre: Classical Ensembles

"We had the honour of having the duo perform at our wedding recently. From the outset, our time working with them was a pleasure. They customised their set in line with what we desired for a truly bespoke experience. They were also keen to collaborate with one of our friends with singing which they didn’t have to do but embraced the process fully. The sound of Steve’s piano creates a warm blanket of sound in the room, complemented by the sweet and soothing notes from the violin. They are both truly gifted and professional in their musical domains and we were lucky to have them blow us away on our wedding day. There was excellent feedback from our guests too where they were moved by the duo’s music. Furthermore, they were kind and affable and were integral to our day. We thank you. "

"Morag and her team of musicians were exceptional. Communication in the build up to the event and on the evening prior was professional and friendly. "We booked the Capriccio Quartet for our recent wedding and they were a superb addition. Lynette was extremely helpful in sorting our playlist and they were happy to set up under a gazebo in little more than a field, however the effect and ambiance they created was beautiful and compliments flooded in from so many guests. They played a great mix of modern and classical and were so easy to work with and organise (which is essential with everything else happening on a wedding day) that I have no hesitation is giving them 5 stars and thoroughly recommending them."

"I've worked with Rachel on a number of occasions and have never had the pleasure of working with a more talented cellist nor as consummate a professional. Rachel always delivers at the highest quality, both with regards her playing as well as her role booking musicians for gigs and recording sessions. Even at short notice, Rachel has always ensured delivery of top quality musicians. I never consider anybody else when it comes to booking strings for a studio session, and I would rarely recommend any other string group for music at weddings and other special events. Warwickshire Strings continue to impress me and I always look forward to future projects working with them. "

"We booked Oscar and Dom for our wedding ceremony and reception. They agreed to travel down for the day and also learnt some song requests specifically for the day and played throughout the afternoon during the drinks reception. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't recommend them enough and if we ever have an event in need of musicians again, I know who to ask for!"

"They were so professional and took into account my many requests. They played for my ceremony, welcome drinks and a candle light dance. They were great and sounded amazing, everyone commented on the music. They also slipped away without people noticing."

"We held an Italian evening and Andrew and Claudio, has accordionist were amazing and made the night really special for our residents and locals who came. They were very professional and on time which made the night run smooth. We would definitely book them again."
