"Hi Jess, It was lovely meeting you yesterday and you did us proud with your choice of songs and fantastic classy singing voice. "Where do I start? Well I wanted a band for my 50th Birthday Party. A band that would suit all ages, as 8-86 year olds present, along with a fair few teenagers.....and get everyone up and dancing and having fun. I had only seen a few videos online and read the reviews, so it felt like a gamble. But it wasn't at all and I couldn't have asked for more! They were perfect! And everyone did enjoy it, including the teenagers and everyone else. I had so many compliments about the band and people asking where I had found them etc. I really couldn't have been happier - well apart from the fact it was my birthday and I had to speak to everyone, so really would have liked more time dancing and enjoying the band myself! Kris is very charismatic and all the band got involved in the fun. The crowd loved it when they came off stage and played in amongst them dancing and Kris's moves and costume changes etc. Kris was easy to deal with, all communications acknowledged and responded to. I got to write the set list too, plus they provided a play list between their sets. There was really nothing to fault. I would highly recommended this band for a fantastic, full of fun and dancing party! THANK YOU ALL! "

"Just wanted to pass on my thanks to you and Chateaux Swing for their performance yesterday. It was just exactly the best of what I was hoping for when I booked you, they were absolutely brilliant, perfect for the event, and my dad (who’s not been well) loved it. I couldn’t work out how you were going to do a bossa nova with the instruments you had, but I hadn’t factored in the multi talents of your bassist! And I shall never again listen to J’attendrai without thinking of English cats…. I can’t give you anything but love was a particular highlight for me (though actually also come to think of it, Putting on the Ritz and Honeysuckle Rose), but people loved Football’s coming home too; and Sweet Sue went down really well with my mum. It just couldn’t have been better in any way, we were so delighted and they really made the whole day, thank you so much,"

"Funk it Up! were the perfect band for our wedding! Their repertoire found favour with young and old and guests were up on the dance floor from the very first song! A great energy radiated from the stage as Funk it Up! did their thing! Highly recommend. Best dance band in town! "

We had so many comments about how great the band were and the dance floor was full all night. They were flexible with times and song choices and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. "For the biggest day of my life I knew I needed someone special to provide music - from the very beginning, Gemma was friendly, easy to talk to and professional - dealing with my requests before the big day. Her amazing voice filled the room, they sang a good variety of songs to suit everyone. Their performance will be one of my best memories from the day, bringing everyone together on the dance floor!
