"Dear Anne I think it was one of the most enjoyable concerts I can remember. Your orchestra is always good, which is why we've encouraged Patrick to book you and let you choose the players. We are certain to ask for your help in the future. At least 2 of our 4 MD candidates know you! I think the choir did especially well, partly raising its game for Patrick but also because the music was fairly straight forward, we felt confident and performed rather than just sang! Sarah Ann was a delight and our experiment using Conservatoire soloists is proving successful. Best wishes Alistair  "

"What an absolutely awesome band - the talk of the night! Great communication prior to arrival, punctual and covid safe. Their performance injected loads of energy and had the dance floor packed! Great supporting equipment and lights turned our venue into a top party!"

"Dear Anne I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your recent performance of the above at St Chad's in Shrewsbury. It was a real honour to hear you and your colleagues at the absolute top of your game. I am so glad I made the trip from my home in Buckinghamshire to come and hear you all. I think what struck me most, was how meticulously well prepared it was. Your attention to all the smallest details of dynamic and phrasing were in evidence right from the very outset. The balance between instruments was superb. As a pianist, I thought Richard's playing was wonderful, drawing out the many colours of that piano. "We used the black jacks for our wedding, the were great singers and got everyone up and dancing, several people commented how good they were, our only slight criticism but it’s not their fault at all is that the hall was too small for the size of the band in our opinion they’d be much better in a larger hall/ venue!"

"We booked the stereobeats for our wedding on recommendation from a friend and they did not disappoint. We had the chance to go and see them play at a gig before our big day and the band all took time to talk to us there which was great. David was an excellent communicator and in a call prior to the wedding discussed everything from timings, set lists, set up, song requests etc. On short notice our wedding venue had some restrictions put in place by the local council which meant they had to finish one hour earlier. After some very quick and efficient communication from David we put a plan in place for the band to start an hour earlier so they could still play their full set. Their set was incredible and included a mix of ceilidh, rock and dance songs which had everyone up on the dance floor! Would definitely recommend! Thank you Ayrton and Sam"

"We booked these guys for our wedding in May 2022 and in one word they were AMAZING!!! (apologies for the delayed review guys.. having technology problems) We wanted a ceilidh dance for a part of the night along with more modern and 'traditional' wedding wedding party songs later on, and to be honest we were struggling to find any groups that 'fit the bill. Then we found Ceilidh With Us. Right from the first contact we knew it was going to just what we wanted and all throughout the process they were so helpful, from organising the timetable of the evening, to working with our song lists and making it all fit together to create one hell of a fantastic night. Lilac performed our first dance song amazingly, we couldn't have been happier, and the ceilidh went down a storm (even if we all struggled with the dashing white sergeant - if you know you know). In short I can not recommend these guys more highly. You will not regret hiring them."

Communication prior to the event was timely, the band turned up in plenty of time and conducted themselves in a thoroughly professional and reliable manner throughout the event. The standard of their performance was outstanding and they really understood their audience, planning and adapting content accordingly. We had an amazing evening and would like to say thank you so much to you and the Lightning Bolts for a great end to our wedding day. They were so polite and raised the roof off. Many guests were surprised and thoroughly enjoyed rocking out in the evening. We have had so many compliments so wanted to pass them on to you and the band. "
