"Mum had a piper play at her wedding and when she knew she hadn't a long left told us that she wanted a piper to lead her down the aisle at her funeral. As we laid her to rest he played The Skye Boat Sone (her favourite tune) there wasn't a dry eye anywhere. Thankyou George "

"When you start planning your wedding, there are lots of factors that you need to take into account, however for me, the music was everything. I called The Covered Band, and spoke to John. From the moment we started talking about my ideas, i immediately felt at ease. We wanted a Country and Western wedding, and this may not be an easy request for some bands, For John, he seemed even more excited than me, that's when i realised, i needed this band, to perform on our day. The enthusiasm and professionalism all the band provided, was the highlight of the day, not to mention the encouragement before hand. I had requested a few of our favourite songs, even the request to use my father's guitar for some songs, as these were really important for us. John always replied, sure, and i honestly couldn't of been happier to know that he was onboard, and was prepared to make sure our wedding would be remembered in years to come. Imagine, being on the dance floor, with all your friends and family, smiles on everyone's faces, whilst dancing like their having the time of their lives. I stood back, for a slight second, to admire that moment. It was truly spectacular!! If you are considering having a band, for your wedding, this is most definitely, the band you need to book. I just wish I could do it all over again and couldn't recommend them highly enough."

"I hired Claire for my sister’s baby shower in February. She was absolutely amazing and performed songs that were fitting for the day. Everyone commented on how fantastic Claire was. Would 100% recommend. Thanks again xx"

"We booked Lucinda to sing at my husband’s 40th birthday party and I don’t think I can write a review positive enough to give her justice for how incredibly fabulous she was! From the ease of the booking process…so personal, patient and warm…to the insanely magnificent performance at the party. It’s still what everyone talks about, the amazing singer! I can’t recommend her talent enough. "

"We booked Nelena just by luck really we was looking for a musician to play at my daughters christening and found her in this website. Please let me tell anyone who books her will not be disappointed she is fantastic !!! And her videos do not do her justice at allandnot only that she is so friendly helpful and kind to approach and be around she was lovely to me and all the quest and children everyone at the christening said she made the day. So without a doubt I would rate her 10/10 five stars xxx "

"I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for playing at our wedding. You were absolutely fantastic, so many people came to me the following day to say how much they loved the band and that you guys made the wedding! I absolutely loved your arrangement of our first dance song, I really couldn’t have wished for more, and your setlist was just perfect for getting everyone dancing. Honestly, you guys were just fantastic, I cannot recommend you enough to anyone hosting a party! You have been a delight to work with and had great communication throughout the booking process. It was lovely to meet you and chat with you as well. All in all, such a positive experience."

"Thank you Nigel for playing at our wedding at Crockwell Farm. We booked Nigel after hearing him play at a wedding fayre, we were blown away by his talent of playing so effortlessly. We chose Nigel as we liked the different packages he offered, especially how we could choose which elements of the day we would like him to play, we chose the ceremony and then the wedding breakfast. The booking process was seamless and every question we had was answered quickly and we were able to choose the exact songs Nigel played from his ever growing repertoire. When the day came he arrived early to set up, and played absolutely beautifully, all of our guests were so impressed and complimentary of Nigel’s playing, he even played a few nursery songs for our smaller guests. We cannot thank you enough for adding such a personal touch to our wedding day and making it extra special. B&T x"

"Hi Aly, A very big thank you for last night - once again, you played an enormous part in making it a much enjoyed evening and, therefore, a resounding success. We had a mix of parents with some who had been last year who, rather than arriving with trepidation, had come along knowing that there were in for a good time, plus some who had heard it was a good event and were keen to get involved. You certainly did a great job of getting people up dancing, providing extremely clear instructions - I just need to work on my sense of direction! Thanks again, Alison."

"I honestly can't thank Gerard enough, he was a perfect wedding DJ for us! Myself and my husband are perfectionists and we honestly can't fault him! He played songs to suit everybody and was more than happy to take requests and everybody commented on how lovely and professional he was and of course on the brilliant tunes he was playing all night, there was always loads of us on the dance floor! He was also so helpful with everything prior to the day too, we owe him a massive thank you as well for sorting our first dance song so last minute. Can't recommend highly enough!!"

"It's No' Reel performed at our wedding at the Albert Halls in Stirling in November. After hearing such great things about them, we actually changed the date of our wedding to ensure they would be free to play! They didn't disappoint on the day. With a mixture of Scottish, English and international guests we thought we would have some ceilidh followed by a disco, but in the end everyone was having such a good time that we just kept on with the ceilidh. From my seven year old nephew to an octogenarian great-aunt, everyone was up dancing all the time. And once the day was over we had a really fun Go Pro video to watch back. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend It's No' Reel to anyone wanting a memorable evening."

"What a fabulous party we had with everyone entering into the spirit of the ceilidh! The music was great and the caller was exceptionally patient with the disproportionate number of young men at the party. It was a really mixed crowd – plenty of teens and twenties, through to those in their eighties. The dance floor was full throughout the evening and everyone, both young and old joined in, including the determined non dancers. Several people commented on what a lovely time they’d had. I’m very happy to recommend the band."

"Damien came with a friend and they performed really well. They have an amazing repertoire of songs and were able to play all the requests that were asked. They were just the right volume so people could listen to them and chat at the same time. They are very pleasant people and it was great value for money."

"Having already seen Ruth play the harp in a number of concerts and performances in Newcastle, Lancaster and the Lake District, we couldn’t believe our luck when she offered to play at our wedding in the South of France. We cannot recommend Ruth highly enough, she is very professional and a delight to have around. All of our guests commented on her wonderful playing. Ruth’s music created a heavenly atmosphere in the 13th century chapel that we were married in, and also afterwards for the reception drinks in a nearby chateau. I still get butterflies when I think about how beautiful Ruth made Handel’s Passacallia sound while I was walking down the aisle. She also adapted some of our favourite songs to play while we were signing the register which made it really personal. We felt truly blessed to have such an accomplished harpist and such a beautiful person playing at our wedding and she made the day even more special. "
