"May I just start by saying thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day truly magical. I could hear you playing whilst I was waiting to enter the room all the songs I had requested, my walk in music was everything I had hoped for and the wonderful world you played whilst I signed the register still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. The guests loved you playing up beat numbers like queen during our afternoon tea (I think you could tell by all the singing going on) and then to carry on with an encore at the end was just brilliant ! I will make sure to recommend you to anybody I know getting married or having a special occasion. We hope to cross paths with you all again one day. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!"

"We had the London String Trio perform at our wedding / reception and we could not have been happier; at every stage of the wedding they played beautifully. They also showed great professionalism in liaising with the venue staff when moving between different locations and also when a brief spell of rain held up proceedings. As the groom I’m only sorry I couldn’t have spent more time focused on listening to them play! Thank you again for a fabulous performance."

"Having a string quartet at our wedding was also a must for us, but finding one that had the quality of sound that I wanted was not easy. I listened to many different quartets but were struggling to find one that had the rich tone in their playing that I was looking for. Until I came across The South Down Strings. I knew very quickly that they’d be the quartet for us! We had a call with Sheraine who was lovely and really got to know us and our musical tastes. In my mind the most important piece of music during a wedding is the piece played for the ‘walk down the aisle”, and for us this was always going to be the unconventional, The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel. Sheraine and the South Down Strings specially wrote an arrangement of this piece for us, a beautifully arranged piece combined with their perfect playing really elevated the whole ceremony. The performance during the drink’s reception was of the same high standard and many of our guests were captivated by their wonderful playing. I can not recommend Sheraine and The South Down Strings highly enough, I’m already looking for an excuse to hold an event where we can hire them again!"

"Great experience with Donaghue Quartet who sang in the church service at our wedding. They were helpful in suggesting music, coordinating with the church and the organist and performed brilliantly on the day. Highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again!"

"Big final thanks to you all for an excellent performance on Saturday evening. All the comments were positive, and the repertoire was wide enough (this is what caught our attention when we first noticed you) so that everyone had their own favourites on the evening. We thought the atmosphere and tone you set for the first half of our evening was fantastic, with guests being able to chat one minute then concentrate on the performance the next. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay tuned in for the whole performance - it seems you're a little more popular than normal on your wedding day as we discovered! Really glad we chose you and thanks for staying so professional in the immense heat as well. Best wishes and good luck with your music and performances in the future,"
