"Wow! We booked these after seeing them at the Birmingham wedding show. We had no idea we wanted them until we heard them and instantly knew we had to have them for our wedding. "Well what can I say, this group was absolutely incredible. I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect accompaniment to our afternoon tea on our wedding day. "Matthew and I wanted to say a big thank you to you and all of the Ariana String Quartet for your beautiful playing at our wedding on 8th July. It brought a tear to my eye as I was waiting to walk down the aisle and the opening of the second movement of the emperor concerto started, and the timing worked out perfectly! We had lots of comments on the day about how good your playing was, and how seamlessly you moved around the venue! My husband the Beethoven fan was extremely happy, as was his sister who is a huge fan of Mozart - apparently your selections before the ceremony made her very happy!"

"Thank you for a wonderful programme of music last week. The audience – your audience – were quite captivated by your music. They were surprised by the versatility of the cello, as demonstrated by the imaginative and varied programme of classical, jazz and show pieces you played, and of course by your virtuosity. All comments were positive, ‘excellent’, ‘great music’, ‘most enjoyable afternoon’, ‘very talents musicians’ ‘magnificent’. On a person note, I was enchanted by your playing; I loved your Haydn and Mozart and your Drunken Sailor was a treat."

"Dear Rachel, I am sorry that I did not get to meet, greet , say thank you and goodbye to the quartet. The beginning of the day did not quite go as planned which led to a follow on of change in plans. This left us somewhat disconcerted and by the time we got to the library I think the allocated time for yourselves had elapsed. The music upstairs was beautiful and the guests I spoke to after told me that the music that you kindly played downstairs was wonderful. Leah really loved her entrance music which meant a lot to her. "Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion. "Modern Strings played at the marriage ceremony of our wedding. They had excellent and lovely suggestions for the music to be played, and were more than happy to play music of our choice. Total professionals who didn't give us a moment of worry, these team know their stuff. Ask them for suggestions on how your music choices can fit with timing on the day! Would definitely use again. "We were both overjoyed at the services you provided for our wedding on 16th April 2015 at The Upperhouse, Barlaston, Staffs. From our original enquiry, right through to the final played piece on the day, the total experience and contact was nothing but professional. You gave us suggestions to help to us decide what we wanted based on your experience, but were also more than happy to accommodate any thoughts or ideas we had. It was great to see the extensive repertoire of the musicians beforehand to help make our choices and to see our date on your websites up coming events. On the big day, none of our guests knew of the trio performing and were absolutely amazed at the playing on their arrival, at the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. Everyone commented on how good the music was and how it delicately enhanced the occasion, especially as we were able to have the ceremony outside in the pagoda at venues gardens. The trio also took some requests at the wedding breakfast which was a nice touch. I have passed on your details to all of my guests. We hope you enjoyed playing for our wedding as much as we enjoyed listening to the performances. "
