"So grateful to you all for your amazing work and sorry about the last minute changes that you accommodated so gracefully. Everyone was absolutely thrilled with you on, especially us both. We just wished we had more time to listen rather than chatting so much. Even into the evening the wedding guests and other hotel guests were commenting on how lovely it was to listen to you play. I would highly recommend you to anyone not only for the beautiful way you play together but your extensive repertoire and ease with which you communicated and dealt with all our requests. "Booked for a small private party - great songs, great sound, and overall it was a fantastic night’s entertainment from a talented young group of musicians. It’s also quite hard to find a 3-piece with cajon and backing vocals - makes a big difference! "

"I have know Mark personally for many years and have only ever known him to put 100% in to every aspect of his music career so when my wife and I started to plan our big day, I knew that his passion and skill would bring something really special and unique to the day.We had The Swing Gents trio perform at our wedding and the guys were fantastic! Really set the mood for the afternoon whilst we were having the photos taken. The set list that Mark put together was perfect and really encompassed the feel of the day.Would highly recommend Mark and The Swing Gents for any event."

"Had these guys for my 50th birthday celebrations and they was absolutely fantastic! Really easy to deal with, very professional and great fun. Phil recommended bringing along a percussionist and it really worked. The band covered all genres and everybody joined in. My grandkids even got an autograph from ‘The Band’."

"Ryan and Jenny played our festival wedding in July 2023. They stepped in at the last minute when a band we had booked previously cancelled. They were brilliant from the start. Jenny was responsive to all communication and immediately put us at ease. They took into account the type of music we said we liked and reflected this in our set list. They let us use their microphone for speeches during the interval. Can’t say enough good things about the Canny Sound. They really helped make our wedding and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again."

"I book these guys as a duo for my partners birthday party. They were amazing. Their talent and unique sound was fantastic. All of our guests were very impressed and I think they may have gained another gig from one of them! They arrived earlier than planned, with their own equipment to set up. These are genuinely nice guys too. I would highly recommend them."
