"Well, what a band! Booked Astella for our wedding as we wanted great musicians, playing great music and they were superb. They worked with our event planner perfectly when setting up to make sure everyone was happy. Such a good, tight band and we would highly recommend you to look no further for your wedding or party band! Thank you guys! "

"We are just back from our mini-moon and reflecting on what a magical day last Saturday was. It was so great to have you there playing for us, as you can tell our crowd was an enthusiastic one and I don’t think I left the dance floor once! So great to have this as the first party back after lockdown. We loved your sets and singing, thank you! Great card from you all too and I loved your little touch of the lightbox with our names in! "What an absolute blast we had with Martin performing at our party. He was an absolute star and got everyone up on their feet on the dancefloor. He has such a wide repertoire, and he worked with us to create a set list that covered a range of 70s, 80s, 90s, & 00s tracks. We found it very easy to communicate with before the event and he arrived well before his first set started, getting set up with a minimum of fuss. His performance was superb, even though he wasn't feeling 100%, and he tailored everything to fit our timings. Would highly recommend - thanks Martin for making it an amazing evening."

"I arranged for Jonathan to play the pipes at my son's wedding on 17th September 2016. He arrived with plenty of time to welcome guests with his music. He knew exactly where to be and when for the ceremony and entrance for wedding meal. His playing was superb and he was immaculately dressed. Jonathan was happy to pose for photos too and was very courteous to us and our guests. Highly recommend Jonathan as part of your special occasion."

"Rob did a fantastic job on our lead float and DJ stage at this year's pride event. It was a quick setup, easy close down and just generally a logistical dream. Rob's high energy and versatile playing style really set our parade apart from the norm and got the crowd going. I'd definitely recommend Rob to anyone looking for a feature or background musician. Thanks so much! "

"We just wanted to say thank you soooooo much for the fabulous live set you did on our Wedding day! Everyone said to us how amazing you guys were, as you all sounded exceptionally good (what a voice you have Laura!) and you had so many of our guests up and dancing. Such a great atmosphere... I know I barely left the dancefloor that evening. We are so glad we found you guys online and booked you. There was no doubt in our mind that you'd be anything other than brilliant for our big day. Live music means a lot to us in particular as myself and Steve (my new husband, ooooh!) go to a lot of gigs etc. so having a great band was really important to us. Thanks again for being amazing!!! Will definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a Grade A band for their event/wedding! "

"Bluenotes Jazz Duo made their debut at Upton Jazz Festival in June 2025, opening our Sunday jazz session with coffee time jazz in our new venue at the Tudor House Museum. Elliot and David were on on fine form and earned much appreciative comment from our jazz folk and from locals new to jazz. The duo have been invited back for June 2026…enough said ! Jon Parsons, Upton Jazz Festival."

"It went really well. Just wish I’d recorded dad’s face as he came in, but hey, can’t remember everything! The kids had a great evening and finally went to bed after midnight. Thank you again for everything. I still keep singing Buddy Holly songs today, especially Roller Coaster!"
