The impressive range of songs you played was perfect and much appreciated by all of us - including some much younger than 70! - as we danced and sang along. "We wanted to thank the band for their amazing performance at my party last month. They arrived early so there was plenty of time to set up and give us the chance to say hi before we got ready at home. We wanted the sound level set so people could still chat in the corners and your sound engineer was very helpful in respecting our wishes. The music was outstanding! Loads of people were giving compliments on the night and we've had lots of phone calls too, saying how much everyone loved the sound and authenticity of the band. We spend the whole evening dancing and the party was still going strong right up until the end. We were delighted with the playlist and found your communication beforehand very helpful in selecting the music. The ipod sets too were great - all my favourite songs one after the other. And the lighting made the room look lovely. All in all, the band made the evening a true success, thanks!"

"Big thanks to Davie, Stevie and Gordon of The Shooglers for playing at my wedding at Killearn Village Hall. They were great at talking us through the dances as half of our guests had no previous experience of ceilidh dancing. Their rocky twist is done fantastically well and they cleverly link classic rock songs into the traditional ceilidh music. We first saw them play at the ghillie dhu and so I can safely say they are very versatile with the events they play. The guys are very down to earth and easy to sort out the logistics through email. Thanks again guys, we will definitely look out for you if you play any public events again! "

"The Liabilities played at The Change of Horses in Orpington and I loved them so much I rebooked them the same night and have had them play with us regularly ever since. They pull in a good crowd and they keep our customers entertained all night and most importantly keep them buying drinks! I would highly recommend this band for any one who likes great music and wants to give their customers a night they will remember. The band are very respectful of our premises, turn up promptly and never let us down!"

"Awesome experience from start to finish! Professional and timely communication prior to event with Tony, the band leader. Our event was plagued by snow and extremely icey conditions. Despite this, the band arrived early and were so friendly they put us all at ease. As soon as the first song belted out I knew we were in for an excellent night of dancing. Their repertoire of rock n'roll was faultless and we could not have asked for a better band to fill the dance floor. Thanks for making my mum's 70th birthday so special! Anneliese xx"

"We have a firm reputation for having some of the best party function bands on a Fiday and Saturday. The Marvellous Motown Souls are up there with our top acts and always have people dancing. They get here early enough to setup some very impressive lights, its not just the band you get, its a party atmosphere for sure. Liz is great with the crowd and always goes out of her way to make it special for any birthday or hen parties we have in on the night. The sets are kept fresh each time and they often play acoustic as an extra for free if the mood suits which people love and we appreciate. We would recommenced booking this band with no question, lovely reliable people and a pleasure to deal with. :)"
