"The Amy Kennie Duo were amazing! They made our 40th birthday. They arrived with plenty of time, they were so lovely and professional. Everyone commented saying how amazing they were and how lovely it was to have such great musicians instead of a DJ. Many of my guests even asked where I had found them and for their details. I would 100% book them again. "

"Rachel & The Haystacks played our wedding reception to perfection :) Even covered a request song for our first dance brilliantly! Everyone commented on what a professional band, well rounded and excellent song choices to please young and old. "I was looking for a strings musician to play for the moment I proposed to my partner in London just last week. Lucy Gijsbers did the most wonderful cello performance for my engagement at Leadenhall Market, and she was the most communicate and flexible throughout the whole process. The music was beautiful, I was able to select the set list I wanted and she was so accommodating as well with any new songs I proposed!! It was the most beautiful experience having her play the role she did at our engagement (proposal) and I know my finance Amanda and I, as well as our friends and families, will cherish the moment forever. Thank you for making our day so special, Lucy!!"

"Thanks for your amazing performance at the TravMedia Awards 2023. To sum up the trio in a few words, I would say they are perfect if what you are looking for is authentic, up-beat feel-good songs that any age can enjoy. The acoustics are perfect, and the band are completely flexible with performance timings and with choosing the right music to suit the theme, as well as being polite and friendly… Overall amazing to work with! We can’t wait to work with them again. "

"Amy was professional, friendly and informative in the run up to our wedding. She gave advice and reassurance :) On the day out piper did not turn up and she ensured this was not obvious to our guests by filling in any blanks so to speak. Cannot recommend her enough."

"Thanks so much for last Saturday - the band were fantastic and the caller was so lovely in the way she gently got so many people involved - particularly loved the way she drew the Children in ! You managed to get several people dancing who had never danced at a barn dance before and one person said ' I never dance at weddings , but this seemed so friendly and fun I thought I'd have a go - particularly when I saw their name was two left feet cos that's me!' You created just the atmosphere we were hoping for and we also had several comments about how good the musicians were - and that came from people who are accomplished musicians themselves. So many thanks to all the band! "

"They played a beautiful selection of modern and classical pieces for my son's wedding over the May Bank Holiday - amazing! They were very professional and blended in nicely with the stately and somewhat regal ambiance of the occasion. I would certainly recommend them... they even take requests !"
