"I shared my retirement party with Alison and agree with all of her positive comments. One friend said "I had a fantastic time and even managed with my two left feet to join in!" It was exactly what I wanted, an evening full of fun with everybody mingling and joining in together. I would highly recommend 'Blue Jewel' if you want a lively and energetic night. Anna (Paignton)"

"They really kept everybody energized! Where do I begin? Function Republic really looked after me from start to finish. So quick to get back to me from my barrage of questions! On the night their performance was absolutely incredible and they really kept everybody energized! Can't thank you guys enough for making my special day that bit more special!"

"What a fantastic band! Blue Jewel played at Paul's 50th birthday party in February 2016 and were a complete hit. Thank you so much! The booking process was really easy with Steve answering all the questions we had before the evening. The dances were varied and all great fun. All four members of the band were a pleasure to have with us. There was so much laughter! If we book a ceilidh again (and I think given the success of this we will) we will certainly ask Blue Jewel to play."

"Liam was asked to sing and play acoustically for my mums memorial at the "lost village of Dode" near Gravesend. As part of the set he was asked to learn and play two songs he had not played before, the songs were all folk ballads. I was slightly apprehensive about getting the right person for my mum's memorial but after my initial contact with Liam I knew he was the chap! On all communication he showed sensitivity and a strong will to play what we desired. On the day he played with great accomplishment and musicality. The tone, sound and timing were perfect. Many of the congression complimented me afterwards on the choice of musician. Thank you Liam for contributing to make such a special occasion that will be held in our memories."

"We booked Iron Broo Ceilidh Band for our wedding in July 2025 and had a fantastic evening with them. The band were highly experienced and helped everyone get involved in the dancing. I would highly recommend them for any Ceilidh event."

"Oh, what a night I had to remember on Saturday. (11.9.2021) Sound with Us came to do a Ceilidh for my big birthday bash and provided a disco for afterwards. They were just out of this world and had everybody up dancing or jigging along in their seats. Their sound quality and musicianship were first class and the caller, who had the biggest task keeping everyone in check, did a magnificent job. My guests were in fits of laughter and he was so patient with us and eventually managed to guide most of us through our paces. I’ve had so many messages since, asking where I had hired such a good band from. Sincere thanks to all the band Fran xxxxx"

Their voices blended so effortlessly, full of emotion, power, and control — the kind of performance that gives you goosebumps and stays with you long after it ends. But what made the experience even more memorable was who they are as people. Warm, genuine, and so full of heart, they brought such a lovely energy that made everyone feel welcome and connected. It’s rare to come across artists who are not only exceptionally talented but also truly kind and humble. An unforgettable performance by two beautiful souls — I can’t recommend them highly enough."

Being asked to play for a wake is one of the greatest honours a musician can receive. But to be so welcomed and looked after on the day by such wonderful people is a true blessing. We were immeasurably glad to get to meet Carol and her delightful family and friends, and through them, get to know a little more about the incredible Eileen. "My husband and I were delighted with Blue Jewel who recently played at our wedding reception. Kip was quick to reply to all communications, relaxed at the event (we were running 15 mins behind), and was fantastic at making guests feel involved by learning names and getting the children to do a demonstration. He also followed my request to have a last dance to say goodbye to our guests. It was just what we wanted. Thank you Kip and Co! "

"Fab. and Hungry Hill were FAB! Great musicians... and they know how to "work the crowd" and get everyone moving! Very impressed that Fabrizio took the time to visit our venue before the event and was easy going and didn't hesitate to play the songs we wanted to hear - very professional and reliable ... great guitarists and drummer...
