"These guys were GREAT! They played at our wedding and were so professional from start to finish - good communication on the run up and provided us with all the info we needed. On the day, the sets they played for us were brilliant, everyone danced from start to finish and really enjoyed how they came into the crowd. Would definitely recommend !!!!"

""We were so impressed with It's No Reel. They delivered exactly what they said they would, with no hassle or worries. We couldn't belive they did a cover of the Game of Thrones theme tune. We asked on the off chance, but they did a beautiful version for our first dance. The guests absolutely loved the band. The music got everyone up dancing and seeing everyone so happy made it all worth it. Thank you"."

"Lilac and the band were the perfect choice for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. She was a pleasure to work with and was happy to tailor a set to suit our needs. The band learned a number of songs especially for us, which was amazing. They have excellent equipment that ensured they were able to tailor the sound to the space perfectly - not too loud, not too quiet. Lilac and co are great performers and got everyone dancing, including some usually-sulky teenagers. They made our daughter feel special and she had an amazing time. I can't recommend them highly enough."

"A great act with strong chemistry and superb vocals and harmonies. They have a great catalogue of popular covers and the odd original covering a range of genres and are guaranteed to get the crowd going. I have worked with them on numerous occasions. They’re lovely people and great to work with. I highly recommend it."

"We hired Dermot to play at our wedding last week as a duo. We wanted an Irish band to play during our canapés & drinks reception, all our guest said how fantastic they were & enjoyed the music. "The ceilidh was all amazing, couldn’t fault it. The caller worked really hard to make sure everyone at least sort of had a clue what they were doing, and adapted it for when there were too many couples and not enough space! Only complaint is that he almost killed me making me do Strip the Willow line twice with my very enthusiastic husband!! Thanks for everything 😊"

"I recently watched Unwritten Duo at a gig and they were amazing! Jo’s voice is stunning and she sings with such passion that you can feel the music The guys are all very talented musicians who complement each other and the vocals perfectly! Definitely watch Unwritten Duo perform if you can - they are as fun as they are talented!"

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one. "

"Lilac and the band were amazing from start to finish after we booked them for our wedding. Lilac was incredibly helpful in the planning process and nothing was too much trouble. She helped us organise our evening reception (of which I am forever grateful as neither of us had a clue!) and the band even learned our first dance song. They really got the party started, asking for crowd participation, and the line dancing lesson went down a storm. Every guest I spoke to said how amazing they were and how much fun they had dancing along. If your struggling finding a band, I can’t recommend them enough! We chose barn with us as we are big country music fans but they have so many different genres you can choose from!"

"We booked blue jewel for a 70th birthday party. I cannot recommend them enough. They were professional when setting up, great musicians, motivated everyone to join in. They played 2 good length sets and everyone at the party commented on how good they were. If your looking for a ceilidh band who are professional and will provide a good evenings fun for your special occasion, book blue jewel. Thank you for making our party extra special."

"Tim Barton played at my 60th Birthday party three years ago at the same venue. Once again he was superb, taking us back through the ages of pop and rock and providing a great soundtrack to the evening. Tim is not only a great musician but a true professional and what's more it is plainly obvious that he loves playing guitar. Hire Tim for any occasion and you are already half way to having a great time; the rest is up to you. "

"We just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding…You were great and lots of people have said how much they enjoyed the ceilidh, including us! It was brilliant to see the dance floor full all night, and it looked like everyone was having lots of fun, which is just what we had hoped for! We will certainly recommend Blackbeard’s Tea Party to anybody looking for a ceilidh band, and hope to see you again!"

"The Shooglers were real stars at our wedding in Lochgoilhead in October. They performed a perfect mix of ceilidh and rock covers, sometimes in the same dance! It really had everyone up on the dance floor for most of the evening. Afterwards everyone wanted to know where we'd got them from including the venue co-ordinator who sees bands every week. Most of all, they have a great sense of humour - they realise it's all about everyone having a great time. Thanks again guys, you were awesome. "

"Blue Jewel were brilliant at our fundraising Ceilidh for Ukrainian Action. They filled Hunts Cider Barn with vigorous, happy dancers and we'll certainly want them again for any similar events in future."
