"We celebrated the end of our sailing season with a Ceilidh on Saturday. It was a brilliant night - Blue Jewel were great. We had a room full of all ages (8 to 86 as far as I am aware) and everyone in the room was smiling and laughing and the dance floor was never empty. I can't recommend anything better for a good party."

"My wife and I got married a few weekends ago and were lucky enough to have Flynn and Tonic’s play at our wedding. We were highly recommended them by a family member who saw them and loved them at a wedding the year before. From the moment I spoke with David he was incredibly professional and personable and followed everything up on email. We stayed in regular contact in the build up to the wedding, discussing options, song selections, timings etc and I felt completely assured I was in safe hands. Most importantly on the day itself Flynn and Tonic’s were absolutely amazing, we opted for an acoustic set during our reception drinks and then 3 band sets after our meal. The dance floor was completely full all night for all 3 sets and the music selection was fantastic!! They were so much fun and so great at reading the room and playing to the crowd!! I knew they were great but they completely and utterly superseded our expectations!! We had so many guests complimenting how good the band were and they absolutely made the day amazing. I’m ecstatic we found this band and I’m so grateful we got to have them on our special day. I cannot recommend the Flynn and tonics enough for any event but most importantly a wedding!! Flynn and tonics, Thank you for making our day so special, we are really grateful and can’t wait to see you again. Marc."

"What a truly wonderful nights feast and entertainment you all provided. I have been inundated with platitudes for you all. I think it is safe to say that between you all we managed to please everyone – rare praise indeed, but wholly justified. On a personal note, I loved working with the majority of you last year and simply adored working with all of you this year. You made the whole process very easy for me. "I'm just writing to say thank you so much to the band for rocking our wedding last Saturday. You and the band were just brilliant - they sounded amazing, looked great, had such charisma and stage presence, and we just loved their music so much.Global Grooves had everyone on their feet and joining in and everyone raved about the music. I'm so glad we booked the band for a mellow reggae afternoon set as well which was just gorgeous on a lovely sunny afternoon. Thanks too for letting various family members sing with the band - an experience they (and we!) won't forget. You’ve all been completely reliable, professional and fantastic in every way. I would thoroughly recommend Global Grooves for any occasion! "

"Dear Alter Ego, We had an amazing evening on Saturday 24th June celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. A good party needs great music and you certainly did us proud you were amazing THANK YOU! "I just wanted to send a massive thank you to you and the whole band for for playing at our wedding. The band were incredible- everyone had so much fun, and we absolutely loved it! Everybody was talking about how great the band were the next day so a massive thanks - it was exactly what we wanted and we couldn't be happier. I'm sure the full dance floor was testament to how much everybody enjoyed it!!! "Dermot played yesterday at the funeral of my mother-in-law, who was an Irish historian, and was sensational. Sensitive, thoughtful, joyful and deeply moving. It was, as they say, exactly what she would have wanted, and was greatly appreciated by everyone there. Thank you!"

"Very talented musicians and vocalists, I was fortunate to be a guest at Melissa and Matt's wedding in Cornwall where they were playing and it was an incredible set that they put together and a great evening. The musical arrangements they reworked to show their abilities were brilliant and the camaraderie and enjoyment shone through from both the band members and the guests. It was fantastic! "

"The Line Up were amazing, played fantastically in admittedly fairly small conditions, they were not phased at all! Played all the songs we requested without a hitch. The band were friendly and happy to help with any questions. The floor was shaking, an absolute rock show!! Our family and friends loved it and it really made the day special. These guys are talented and I have no doubt they can cater for any taste in music you have. They were genuine and spoke to us after their set and you tell they love what they do. Highly recommend! "
