"Thanks so much for playing our big night! We’ve gotten so many compliments on how awesome it was to have incredible live music. On another notes, had I mentioned that “Let’s Dance” is a rather significant song for both Jacqueline and me, or was that pure coincidence that you guys decided to open with that? Either way, both sets were incredible. Please pass my praise onto all of your band members!"

"We were very pleased with their performance. I was nervous of being in charge of booking the band for an important corporate event but they were brilliant and everyone enjoyed the performance. I was very happy with the services provided by the band. I have had lots of positive feedback on their performance from our guests. We are very pleased with how our event went and would be happy to use the band again in the future."

"The event was held in a magnificent marquee and food prepared by a Michelin star chef so guests expectations were high. Gary from Eleventh Hour contacted me prior to the event and made sure that all requirements were met. Gary and the band arrived punctually and were set up and sound checked in plenty of time putting my mind at ease. During the dinner Freyja was on hand to supply suitable background music and a microphone for speeches. The band was fantastic, they engaged with the guests and the choice of songs was perfect keeping the dance floor packed until we finished at 1am. They supplied great music in between their sets ensuring that the party atmosphere. Following the event I received lots of feedback from guests praising the band saying how they really made the night. I have seen 11th Hour at other events and I would highly recommend them for any type of event."

"We hired The Marvellous Motown Souls after hearing 2 of them at a wedding fair. From then on I thought they were a great band but also lovely people which was important to us. We even went to see them at another event to show the parents. The acoustic set during our wedding breakfast was just right and they went the extra mile for our bespoke first dance which they put together for us which went down a storm with our guests. We really appreciated the recording before the wedding we so we get it just right. We would highly recommend this band and me and my husband had many compliments about the band and the music they played"

"What a fantastic night. The band jumped in on a weeks notice and put on a cracking show. They arrived early and were set up and ready to go before anyone arrived for the party. They read how the evening was going and allowed people to finish eating before starting. The set was fantastic and had everyone on their feet dancing. "We were worried about choosing a band because we had to just trust reviews and sample videos and it made us so nervous. But - WOW. You didn't just nail the music, you played with so much enthusiasm and you were communicative right the way through the process. The dance floor was full from start to finish and we received so many compliments from our guests who said you were absolutely incredible - which of course we agreed with. We had planned a lot more for our first dance but had to scale it right back to a prom sway when I spent the afternoon tripping over my dress, but one of the highlights of the whole day was when you picked us out for Mr Brightside. By then I was in a pair of John's Auntie's flip flops and we'd had enough fizz that we just let rip and had the most brilliant dance. That, and you keeping everyone on the floor for 'Sit Down', one of my favourite songs, and seeing the entire room crying and laughing at the same time trying to hold a squat. You and the band absolutely made the evening 'do. "

" Somerset Soul and Rebecca performed at our wedding in December 2021 and they were absolutely fantastic. Rebecca is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, their manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."
