Review Centre: Acoustic Bands

"Their name may sound a bit cheesy to some but their music is far from that. They are able to knock out standard after standard with an extremely high level of musicianship. When they are in full flight (particularly when the trumpeter is letting rip), one can close one's eyes and be at Ronnie Scott's listening to the jazz greats of yesteryear. The sound of each instrument is well balanced and as a whole they seem able to play at just the right volume for the venue size. All-in-all a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience - highly recommended."

"Saw Steph years ago and she set the place alight, I hadn't seen her for a long time since, but she appeared at one of my local pubs recently, and I don't think there was a single bum on a seat. People of all ages on their feet, smiling, singing and dancing. She was gracious enough to stop for a quick chat when she finished too. Looking forward to having the opportunity to see her perform again! "

"We just wanted to say thank you to you and to the rest of the band for the most fantastic two sets at our wedding. Friends and family are still asking us about you all and saying it's the best band they've heard at a wedding. We were delighted with all the songs that you chose and especially grateful to you for playing 'Tonight I'll be Staying Here with You'. The accordion sounded great in that song! You judged the mood of the evening perfectly and the music moved along beautifully in response to this. I think it was a real highlight of the day for us and all of our guests, especially the children who loved seeing you all playing your instruments."

"As for the booking experience, as you know Sian found that absolutely fab. At the event, Georgia was amazing. She really set a great atmosphere for our dinner. Although something slightly different to what our delegates usually have, they loved her! Will definitely want to book her for future events if she's free!"

"A big thank you to Ed & Oliviya who played at my wife’s 50th birthday party on Saturday 11th November and helped to make it such a special evening, from the initial booking to the the party they we very professional and always quick to respond to emails. "We got married at The Ned in July and booked The Romantics to kick off our Champagne reception, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the celebrations - all the guest were up dancing and singing immediately, just having the BEST time! They are all fantastic musicians and such good fun. Prior to the wedding communication was fantastic, very professional... simply great guys to work with. Don't think about it... Book them!
