Review Centre: String Quartets

"I booked Martin and Natalie as a string duet for my wedding almost 18 months in advance and throughout the whole planning process and the day itself they were so professional, accommodating and talented. Martin and Natalie learned my partner and I's requested wedding ceremony songs, and worked on a bespoke arrangement for the music I walked up the aisle too. They did it all with enthusiasm and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, their music was the perfect soundtrack to our wedding, and lots of our guests have told me how much they enjoyed listening. Martin and Natalie were also generally a pleasure to spend time with - they were so warm and made time to talk to me, my partner and members of the wedding party. I'm so glad they were part of our day and can't recommend them highly enough."

"Wonderful concert in Paignton on the 5th July. The musicians were splendid and very professional. The set list was everything I wanted and more. I hope to see them again soon. Would highly recommend. "

"Totally brilliant at our daughter's wedding! The cello duo made a special day even more special. They played a range of lovely tunes we asked for, even dressed in the colour scheme of the wedding! They moved from the ceremony room, to outside in the fresh air, to the function room, quite happily. Very flexible, extremely talented, happy and charming people. What a lovely sound for a special event. Thank you!"

"We had the absolute pleasure of having the String Trio Flux Ensemble play at our wedding, both as we entered the church and during our drinks reception, and it was nothing short of magical! They added such a special touch to the day, creating the perfect atmosphere with their beautiful renditions of modern songs. Their music truly set the tone, making our wedding even more memorable and unique. We couldn't have asked for a better group to be part of our celebration. "We ended up in a sticky situation, our original musicians unfortunately could no longer play, so four days before the wedding and both my husband and I were in a panic trying to get a replacement. We couldn't have asked for anyone better, both Sarah and Jaya were amazing, supportive and completely understanding in the situation. The music they played really added to our special day, everyone was complimentary and really enjoyed it, you both created such an amazing atmosphere, thank you both so much."

"I just wanted to extend a massive thank you for playing at our wedding on Saturday. You were fantastic! I will never forget the look on my dads face as he started dancing immediately when you played Mr Blue Sky. All the guests very much enjoyed it! "We used Rigaudon Music to play at our wedding breakfast at the Olive Branch in Horsham on 17 September 2016. The booking was simple and well organised and Silja gave us some advice beforehand on what would suit the venue and number of guests etc. All very easy to book and pay for. On the day, Silja and Samara played as a violin and cello duet. They were immaculately turned out and played beautifully throughout the day and added a real touch of class to the proceedings. I can thoroughly recommend Rigaudon for any event and would certainly use them again in the future. "

"We hired Ebor String Quartet to play for our guest arrival and wedding ceremony at Thirsk Lodge Barns and they were absolutely fantastic! Conor, who was my main point of contact, was super helpful and responsive to all of my questions, and Emily, who picked up things whilst Conor was away just as lovely and responsive. The quartet played beautifully and all of our guests commented on what a nice touch having live string music was for their arrival and during the ceremony itself. Would absolutely recommend! "
