"Thames Valley String Quartet performed at our wedding on Saturday 4th May 2019 in Shrewsbury and we couldn’t be happier! They played as our guests arrived, the ceremony and reception drinks. From the initial enquiry we were extremely happy with the personal service we received from Kathryn, responses were helpful and quick - even when we were delayed ourselves. We took a while to decide on our song choices, but Kathryn and the rest of the group were very accommodating and played a huge range of styles for us, from a suggestion from the grooms grandad to learning a song especially for the groom (Final Fantasy sound track) which he absolutely loved for before the ceremony. On to classical and modern pop for the rest. Even though the sun was shining the air was cold being an outdoor ceremony but they all played through it like troopers to enable us to have our dream ceremony. Once again, a huge thank you to all of you in Thames Valley String Quartet for making the journey to be a part of our wedding day, both the two of us and our guests LOVED having you there and listening to you play. We highly recommend booking with Thames Valley String Quartet for any event with their diverse repertoire, skills and great personal service. Thank you again! "

"We first heard the Songbird String Quartet at a Wedding Fayre and it did not take us long to know that they were perfect for our big day. They gave us some short examples of different styles of music which had a real quality. In the build up to the wedding the quartet were always happy to take any requests for them to arrange, of course they need lead time for this. On the day the quartet arrived and, knowing our intent, set off with playing our programme of music. So taken with them, we booked them for a lot of the day and they were fantastic throughout our ceremony, during the photographs and during the wedding breakfast. Not only did the Songbird String Quartet bring a touch of class to our wedding, they were so supportive of the music we wanted and the occasion - they have a true sense of timing and mood. The quality of their music is stunning - you really can not go wrong booking them for your big day."

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and the rest of the quartet for being amazing at our wedding. Everyone commented on how great you were, from children recognising the modern pop songs to the grandparents enjoying the classics!! You were perfect for the pre ceremony music - I remember walking in Stanley House and hearing you on the balcony and thinking it sounded amazing. You were also excellent at the drinks reception - the perfect balance of live performance but back ground music if that makes sense? I would also like to say that as a bride planning a wedding with a million and one things to think about you were always really easy to deal with, quick at responding and of course 100% reliable! I would definitely recommend The Bridgewater String Quartet, especially for weddings as it really does add a touch of class to your special day."

"Grace and I first discovered Capriccio Quartet at the Best Western Regency Bridal show. Having not considered music, let alone a string quartet before we went, we were amazed by the musicians, especially when they asked us to choose a song from their repertoire, which turned out to be the exit song at our wedding. Having made the decision to book the group, Lynette and the team were so good during the lead up to our wedding, they even rehearsed music not on their repertoire for our aisle song which made for perfect harmony on the day. On the day of our wedding we don’t know what we would have done at the beginning of the ceremony without Capriccio in the background because they filled the room with beautiful music. The weather was so glorious that during the reception the quartet performed outside and our guests commented on how wonderful the music was. Our wedding without Capriccio wouldn’t have been the same, they made our day so special and one that we will treasure. We are truly thankful for everything and appreciate listening to such talent. "
