"Our experience with Conor and the Ebor Quartet team was amazing. We had multiple guests compliment the music and I couldn’t imagine our day without them. Very professional, great communication, timely, and even switched to different areas of the venue for us during the event. So so so happy we found you guys and went with you! "

"I was wondering whether you and your colleagues might have availability to play at my wedding on 24 April 2026. Your team played at a friend’s wedding, and I was really impressed — I absolutely loved the atmosphere you created, so I was hoping you might be able to do the same for us."

"Thank you ever so much to Flux Ensemble for playing at our wedding in London yesterday. It was so easy to communicate with Martin, who is so responsive and kind, and helped us make all our dreams for the ceremony come true - by arranging one of our favourite songs and playing it while I walked down the isle. So many of my guests commented on how much they loved the live strings duo, it was truly so incredibly special and I cannot recommend them enough. I am so very grateful to Martin and Laura (they even asked me about the colour scheme so they could match their outfits!! Unbelievable)."

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding, the duo string sounded stunning together and we are so delighted we chose Warwickshire Strings. Hearing my entrance piece played as I walked in church is one of the best parts of my day and one I will never forget, it was so beautiful and added such style and elegance to our wedding. Thank you so much!"

"We booked Anne’s string trio for our wedding, for the ceremony and drinks reception. They played beautifully and helped make that part of the day so much more special. They accommodated all of our special requests and put together a lovely repertoire. Thank you so much! "

"I first encountered The Tuning Forks fairly recently, at a 200 capacity independent venue in the Strathbungo area of Glasgow. I was there as House Audio Tech and it was one of those nights where before the soundcheck had even commenced, I had a sense that something pretty special was about to happen. The individual tones they delivered during soundcheck were staggeringly rich and I knew that once the faders were at unity and the ensemble played as a unit that my initial instinct had to be correct. I was NOT prepared for the emotive, playful and dare I say, danceable set which we were treated to. Like an organism made of limbs that mostly supported each other without obstruction, ego or flashiness, but with occasional forays into wild and feral territories; always as a unit and simultaneously bubbling like a pot on the stage with sudden bursts of joyous phrase manipulation or flurries of individual hyper-expression that always teased and never outstayed their welcome. I was left shellshocked and almost lost for words immediately following their performance. Frivolity, lullabying, romance, questing, struggle, sadness, ecstasy and introspection seemed to come like waves from the stage but, the overall feeling was that the explorations I was witness to were a fun and gentle love letter to the magic of the life experience. In summation… There are very few artists that inspire me to lower my inhibitions enough to literally ASK to work with them again as soon as possible… but that’s exactly what was called for!"
