Review Centre: Covers Bands

"After looking for a band for a 30th Birthday party I found and hired The Fireflies and all I can say is they did not disappoint!! From booking to end their contact with me was very good, they arrived on time on the night and were very friendly and polite. Before, in between and after their sets they played music which was a good selection to keep the party going but the best part was The Fireflies themselves! They were BRILLIANT!!! All the guests have been saying how good they were and that they really enjoyed them, The Fireflies even learnt a new song for us as we liked it so much and they smashed it! Would 100% recommend to anyone and would 100% hire them again myself, I also loved the fact that they come off of their set and interact with all the guests while singing to make everyone feel involved. Overall a massive 5/5 from us! Thank you Ian and the rest of The Fireflies for making our night soo good, literally cannot thank you enough!"

"I booked Whisky & Ginger for my Gran and Grandad's wedding anniversary party and they were absolutely great! From our first interaction, they were super professional and really put my mind at ease with everything else I had to organise. I truly felt I could just leave them to get on with it and not have to worry. And I was right! They arrived on the day, set-up super quickly and super subtly. We were a bit delayed with our timings of other events during the day and they were so helpful and willing to adapt and delay what they had planned. They even took some last minute requests from us on the day and included them in their set which really made it special for my Gran as they were able to perform her favourite song. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about booking, they were totally professional, entertaining and fun!!!! Thank you again!!!!!"

"What can I say other than fantastic, my walking partner and I decided a local band would be good for all to remember Ned Edwards who sadly passed away just over a year ago, we thought we would raise money for MIND and not only did we raise enough to pay the band but also an additional £378.35 how amazing. The band were absolutely fabulous so thank you so very much guys."

Elevated the night from good to amazing, everyone was on the dance floor - we will be doing it all over again. Looking forward to booking them for our 30th anniversary at the end of the year. "A Huge thank you for making our special day amazing. Primed are an absolutely amazing live band and trust me, my husband and I have been to countless gigs and festivals to be able to say this, they were pitch perfect, brilliant musical timing and great entertainers.    From the moment I contacted them to the clearing away on our wedding day primed were polite, courteous and incredibly professional.    All our guests loved the songs, they managed to get people from aged 2 to 88 on the dance floor, they even sang happy birthday to my 16 year old cousin. The only complaints I have heard were from the female guests who complained of having achy feet the next day from dancing too much! "

"We saw Larry and the Hot Crossed Buns at a party at the Mesmerist and we were hooked. Chaz (the frontman) is super talented, as well as having a great ability to read the crowd. His music is versatile and it attracts people of all ages and musical tastes. More importantly the quality of the music and the arrangements are fantastic. I will certainly follow Chaz and his bands as they are a type of medicine for the soul."

"Funk it Up! were the perfect band for our wedding! Their repertoire found favour with young and old and guests were up on the dance floor from the very first song! A great energy radiated from the stage as Funk it Up! did their thing! Highly recommend. Best dance band in town! "
