"There's only one must have at the funeral of a Son of Scotland. Clyde Built as my husband , Andrew, would say. It must be a Scottish Piper and Tom fulfilled that roll to perfection. His dress and demeanour gave reverence to the occasion and although limited by Covid his playing nevertheless tugged at the heart strings and brought tears to the eyes. As in the song by Moira Kerr...You'll Live Forever when the Piper Plays....Thankyou Tom."

"Sarah's performance exceeded our expectations! She chose a wonderful repertoire and sung beautifully. Her manner was approachable, friendly and warm - engaging well with our Nan (birthday girl) and the entire party audience. She was unfazed by roaming toddlers & Nan's partner who enjoyed a duet with her will look to book with her again later this year!"

"Nick and boys were incredible, they communicated brilliantly throughout 2 rearranged dates during covid and then absolutely smashed 2 sets in the evening of our wedding. As music lovers, and in particular, live music, music was always going to be a big part of our wedding and The Leathernecks did not disappoint. The dance was full, and stayed full for hours - so many people have commented on how good the band were. If you’re looking for a top quality band that know how to put on a great show and do it with a smile then look no further. Absolute class these boys."

"Philippa played at our wedding on Saturday and she was absolutely amazing, her performance was flawless and all of my guests really enjoyed it. "Radio Dukes have been FANTASTIC throughout our wedding planning process all the way through to the final event where they did not disappoint. We changed our date a few times and each time Mitch was great at communication and keeping my mind at rest! The band learnt our first dance song especially for the occasion and all the guests commented how lovely it was, they kept our guests up dancing all night and played a mix of genres to suit everyone. Their dedication and enthusiasm showed- all the way down to the drummer having his covid jab on the same day as our wedding and surviving the whole gig and doing it amazingly too! Thankyou for making our evening reception so special and I hope I get to go to an event where you are playing again very soon! "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Claire’s 60th Birthday / May 2025 Black Velvet Trio were absolutely perfect for the barn dance we hosted. The trio were cool, calm and professional in their ability to literally herd cats! They were able to bring a huge smile to every face which was always my wish. The musicians were brilliant at just playing wonderful barn dance music whilst we laughed and bumped and crashed about with our two and sometimes three left feet.Our last (came too quick) dance was the Swiss Roll. We all loved it and would be so happy to have Black Velvet Trio back to do it all again."
