"The Dixie Rhythm Busters played as a two piece at the start of the reception. It started to rain so we all moved into the tipi. The duo started to play popular songs in a jazz style, which got people on the dance floor straight away!"

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the band for giving Sam such a good party! He had a great time. The music was perfect and exactly what I had hoped for. This didn't go unnoticed by Samuel and I think his words were it was like it was meant for me... duh! Anyway, it was great to meet you in person and I wouldn't hesitate in coming back to you if/when we throw another party. Thanks again :)"

"Kathryn and I hired Eccentric Pony’s full four-piece band to perform at our wedding. They were friendly and quick to respond to our questions and requests, including learning a new song for our first dance. Their impressive list of available songs took some time whittle down to make our set list! The band arrived on time, and set up discreetly while other events were going on. Their performances throughout the night were incredible, and our guests were highly complementary – they even chanted for an unplanned encore, which they graciously performed. At the end of the night, the band packed up cleanly and without any hassle. Eccentric Pony have been a pleasure to work with from start to end, and we will certainly be keeping them in mind when we need a band in the future."

"Royal String Ensemble played at our wedding ceremony at Gaynes Park, in Epping Forest on the 3rd of January 2017. The group were absolutely fantastic, many of my guests came up to me in the reception to comment and how good they were. The band were highly professional and very attentive to my ideas, they were happy to mix their conventional classical music pieces with some modern pop songs I had selected. The band met with me prior to my wedding day for an initial consultation to discuss what I'd like on the day, the format, theme of the wedding etc., they then provided me with some ideas of music that they had played at other weddings and were always extremely responsive to my emails. In particular the band really stood out and went the extra mile by kindly agreeing accompany my brother and sister (both amateur guitar and drum players) in playing a song at our wedding. This involved them re-writing the sheet music in the correct key, meeting with my brother and sister one evening to rehearse the song, and then arriving at the ceremony earlier than usual to rehearse with my brother/sister before the start of the ceremony. They are a fantastic group and I am sure they will have a hugely successful future ahead of them, they certainly made my wedding ceremony very special and unique, as one of my guests said when describing their music "they are certainly one to remember.""

"This was honestly the highlight of our event, and we are absolutely glad we went with The Upbeat Duo, from start to finish the communication was fantastic, no ask was too much, really flexible and willing to work with us and our timings and last but definitely not the least the entire setup and the music was phenomenal, these are two very very talented individuals who are willing to go the extra mile to make your event unforgettable. "Rory were a fantastic part of our recent 40th birthday celebration. Not only was the music excellent, they put a great deal of effort into finding and playing Jazz that fitted the era we asked for. Communication with the band in advance was easy and they were very helpful as we prepared for the night. On the night itself they were excellent. The music was perfect, professionally delivered and the band made our guests feel at ease and welcome on the dance floor. Thank you. We'd definitely recommend and use again."

"Midnight lanterns played at my birthday party and were absolutely amazing. The set was brilliant and filled the dance floor , all the guests said how great they were and have asked for their contact details to book for future events. I cannot recommend them highly enough. So easy to arrange the booking. Communication was great to ensure that we got everything we needed from the booking and they were so professional and reliable."

"The band played at our wedding 3 years ago and I’m so pleased they did, they were great, I barely left the dance floor all night to go for a wee! They even accommodated one of our guests doing a bit of impromptu karaoke!"
