Review Centre: Covers Bands

"Well what can I say?! It was my husbands 60th Birthday and we had a party planned! We’ve been to many parties & functions where the ‘live band’ had not delivered that fabulous party atmosphere that is required to make a party / celebration a success. I spent a lot of time reviewing various live party bands and made my decision after viewing The Pocket Rockers Facebook page which contained videos of previous parties. Once I made my mind up and made an enquiry I received timely & informative replies to my queries. We decided to leave it to The Pocket Rockers to come up with a set list to make the party a memorable one - informing them of my husbands likes & dislikes - and they certainly delivered! "Sorry I didn't get a chance to email you yesterday to say thank you so much to you and your excellent band for providing us with such great entertainment on Saturday night. I had a lot of positive feedback yesterday from everyone who went to the party! We only have our Christmas party every other year but I won't hesitate to contact you again to book you for any other social functions we have. "The Line Up were spot on for our wedding. Very flexible in what we asked them to play, all great musicians, but with a great sense of humour. Feedback from the guests was that everyone had a great time and the dance floor was full all night. Made the evening do for us! "

"Goldsworth Gerry – I can’t thank you guys enough for making my 40th birthday party a truly fantastic night to remember. Literally everything went according to plan, and the playlist was spot-on. Martin made sure that I was kept up-to date with everything and I felt totally confident that they would deliver; and deliver is the understatement of the day. It was electric! After requesting one of my favourite songs by the Chilli Peppers very last minute, you pulled the most incredible performance out of the bag, and even let me fulfil my life-long dream and sing along with you. Friends and family were so impressed by the quality of your vocals and instrumentals throughout the evening. I’ve never heard so many encores! Can’t wait to see you play again. Thank you both!"

"Amy performed recently at a large corporate event we held in central London. She created a playlist that perfectly matched the mood of our evening and on the day she was flawless in her delivery. Her voice is wonderful and left us and our guests thoroughly delighted. I would highly recommend her!"

"We first witnessed the power of SWB at my sister's wedding in 2022 (thanks, McMasters) and when it came to planning our own wedding, we knew we just had to have these guys. So we stole them. SWB are INCREDIBLE. They absolutely smashed it on our wedding day and are still such a huge talking point whenever we discuss our day with anyone. Everything from the banging setlist they put together for us, to the perfect version of our first dance song they learnt and played for us, it was everything we wanted and more. We are so so grateful for the effort and energy these guys put into each and every song. So many people commented on how perfectly put together these guys were and the clear talent they all have, and we absolutely agree. We also had SWB do the DJ set for the evening, which I would absolutely recommend as an add on. Communication, booking and everything in between was also a breeze (which is always a good thing when you have a trillion things to sort out!) The friendliest bunch you could meet. Thank you a million times over for being such a huge part of our day, SWB. We absolutely love you guys!!"

"Brilliant what more can we say, the music choices start to the very end of the night had people on the dance floor, including me (the bride) really dancing/bouncing... note to self and others not good in a wedding dress!!!! Phill was friendly from our first conversation, trying to give options to meet our needs. Great music, great band, wish we could do it all again ;-) V "
