"We booked House of Chords for our wedding reception. We were really impressed by how well they played; it was an amazing atmosphere and they chose exactly the right songs to get everyone in the room from children to grandparents dancing! The guys were also really flexible; they even chose our first dance for us when we still hadn’t come up with anything ten minutes before we were supposed to do it! The band really helped make our day special and I would happily recommend them to anyone."

"We hired the Captain's Beard last year and they got the whole boatload of us up and on our feet jigging our hearts out. You'll be surprised how many nautical ballads you know the words to once they get into full swing. Why are the Captain's Beard so great? Because they arrrRRRRRR! "

"Winklepickers were a fantastic choice, we had just the two of them and it really made the night. They made such a lovely atmosphere and even with the two of them we had some persistent boogiers. People who are talented musicians themselves said they were excellent. They played all the favourites, and even learned a song just for us. Thank you Winklepickers!"

"We booked Evelyn and the band for our wedding and we are so glad we did, they are a unique and highly entertaining band. Their contemporary mix of jazz, swing and modern pop rock is wonderful to listen to and it really got our guests up and dancing. Alba has a beautiful voice and the whole band is made up of highly professional and talented musicians. The addition of the saxophone was well worth it and added a further dimension to the already great sound and feel of the music. The band offered to learn a first dance song for us and their cover of Home was fantastic! All in all Evelyn and band made what was already an incredible weekend even better, we would wholeheartedly recommend them for any occasion and wish them all the success for the future."

"The Delta played at our daughter’s wedding yesterday, they were absolutely brilliant, had everyone from aged six to 91 up dancing. On top of that, they said I was the coolest mother of the bride ever because I like David Bowie and they played one of my favourite tracks from my favourite Bowie album – what’s not to like?"

"We hired this band to play background music at my sons Christening after party. They were amazing!!! They welcomed the guests, played relaxing jazz music and even dedicated a song specially for my son which was so special - (Wonderful World, Louis Armstrong). Thank you so much - we will be hiring you for our next babies Christening for sure!"

"Alice was professional to work with and went above and beyond by filling in an extra 15 minutes of singing that she wasn’t expecting, due to the bride being late and for this we are so very grateful! We have had endless comments from our guests about how fantastic Alice was and her performance of Ave Maria and Pie Jesu was simply breathtaking!"

"A big thank you to the band for their performance on the 7th November at our wedding at Rowton Castle. The band were fantastic and made for an excellent evening for everybody. We have had many compliments about the band and lots of people said they would recommend them to anybody. We had a brilliant day and the band was the icing on the cake. "

"The Marvellous Motown Souls played our wedding and absolutely smashed it. We had old classics, pop favourites, slow dances and head bangers. I would describe it as dance floor rocking, glow stick throwing, inflatable guitar weilding, music madness! The whole dancefloor was packed from the start and we've heard nothing but great reviews from all our guests. Thank you so much for including our random requests and making it a night to remember. Stacey and I will be recommending you guys to all our friends and hopefully we'll see you soon!"

"We booked Debbie Boyd band at quite short notice for our wedding as we'd been let down by our previous band. A friend recommended them and we were not disappointed! From the first moment of contact Debbie's calm, professional manner put us straight at ease. Nothing was too much trouble! We chose our style of music and our first song and due to the late notice and the fact the song wasn't on the first Dance list, we thought our first dance couldn't be sang but would be played as there was no time for it to be rehearsed so we didn't even ask. Once again from the moment the band arrived we didn't need to worry about anything. The band eased in set up and we're ready to play without a hitch. And then the music started, brilliantly, amazingly perfect! For our first dance the band started playing and Debbie started singing and it was just as beautiful as it should have been and a fantastic surprise! Everyone from every generation was on the dance floor, the atmosphere was fantastic! I can't wait until we have the next big family event so we can book you all again Debbie! For me you are the perfect wedding band and I can't thank you enough for making our evening so very special."
