Review Centre: Covers Bands

"I was given the responsibility of choosing the entertainment for our wedding and I knew I had found the right group when I came across Detroit Deluxe. Their repertoire of songs stood out from the others as they cover multiple genres without all the modern cliché covers. The vocalists were outstanding and spent time with us chatting after the 2 sets which was a really nice moment. I have had several guests ask me for their details after the wedding. They were outstanding professionals and had people on the dance floor all evening. They suggested us a set list and we changed a few of the tracks with no issue. Their cover of our chosen track by Ben Howard was exceptional and still gives me goosebumps when I listen back to it now. Thanks so much to the band and say no more I would of course recommend them. They truly made our day. "

"Wow where do we begin! Stargazers played at our wedding last Saturday and they honestly helped make the day perfect! From dealing with Rhona by email/ phone before the big day to their performance they were all so professional and helpful and were happy to adapt to exactly what you want. Their set list is incredible and their talent is even better! They are so tight as a band and feel the vibe of the room making changes in the moment to keep everyone up and dancing! We also had an acoustic set in the afternoon which we would also highly recommend, they set the scene for a great day and we would suggest anyone looking for a band for any occasion should go for these guys!"

"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast-paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak Music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "I booked Hot Tamales as a surprise for my husband to play at our wedding reception because he loves blues style music. Giulio the guitarist answered all my emails promptly and was very helpful. The quality of the music, both the singing and the guitarist was excellent. The repertoire fitted the brief perfectly and as I requested they played a James Taylor song. All my guests really enjoyed their performance and it made our special day memorable. We all really loved these guys! "

"Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and all the band for the amazing night that you gave us at our wedding. You were all fantastic, and completely outshone our expectations. We both loved every second of our wedding, but the evening do and seeing so many people dancing made it into such a great party too. The mix of music was awesome, and I've never been to a wedding with the dance floor so full all night. My 82 year old grandma is worried she made a fool out of herself for dancing so long!! Many apologies about the 'singing' karaoke hour too; I'll blame that on my friend and will make sure to get her back at her wedding!We had so many amazing comments from our guests about you guys too and without doubt would recommend you guys to any one looking for a good party!"

"I want to say a huge thank you for all your hard work at my daughter's wedding reception on Saturday. To say the music was fabulous is a massive understatement. As a band, you are phenomenal and so hugely talented. The song choice was spot-on, with a great mix of contemporary, up-to-date hits and some golden-oldies that everyone could dance to. Indeed, a full dance floor all night is surely testimony enough to the success of your music. "Following a fantastic performance at Darren & Shirley Yaxley's reception at Applewood Hall in July this year, I couldn't recommend Debbie Boyd Band enough! Energetic and lots of fun, they even got some of the guests to singalong - live rock-aoke! Just what you need to fill the dancefloor and keep everyone bopping all night."
