"Well, where do I start, was so easy to book an event with this band, contact via email - was always responded to, and very accommodating. The event went without a hitch. Very clear instructions throughout the evening. Would highly recommend."

"From the moment we met Francis of Band One Steel Band we knew we had to have the band a part of a wedding! I can say that the band were amazing! They played during our cocktail hour and really brought the energy to the day! They made the occasion memorable! Our family and friends loved them and we loved them! They have great range of songs and they also can perform new pieces of music that you may request. Please do not hesitate to book this wonderful band to be a party of your special occasion! Thank you Steel Band One for everything! I would highly recommend them!!"

"We booked The Rockpins for our wedding and they were amazing, we are so glad we booked them. They had EVERYONE up dancing to all 3 of the 40 minute sets they played for us. We used their song "Heartbeat" as our first dance and it was even better live in the room than listening on Spotify, learning the words. We would definitely recommend The Rockpins to anyone who wants a live band. Thank you Matt, Nick and JM for making our day extra special. Natalie and Ross."

"Amazing band! We had The Groove Ambassadors perform at our wedding reception evening party and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Such talented musicians and vocalists, but they also brought so much fun and charisma. While we’d already agreed the set list, the band flexed their set to what our guests were enjoying the most, they built great rapport and everyone had so much fun. Being a singer myself they were also more than happy to accompany me singing a song to my husband before our first dance. If we ever have any other events which we want a live band for, we won’t hesitate to have The London Soul Band back again! Thanks for all you did for us. "

"We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the very beginning, Kirsty was incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. Communication was smooth, and she was accommodating with all of our requests and preferences. On the day itself, she made everything feel effortless — we didn’t have to worry about a thing. She brought such great energy and fun to the celebration, keeping the vibes high and the dance floor full all night. Truly a joy to work with and a big part of what made our day so special. We can’t recommend Kirsty enough!"

"We booked this fabulous string quartet for our wedding on August 11th. They are absolutely brilliant and very professional. Claire was always contactable and my request for “Waltz of the Flowers” to walk down the aisle to, was absolutely no problem for them to do. I highly recommend."

"Hired this trio for our annual staff party and we were far from disappointed. The song choices and the vocals were amazing. "

"BM Ceilidh were excellent! They pitched it right for our inexperienced group, getting among us to ensure we were right and keeping steps fairly straight forward. Additionally, they were very good at trying to keep us on track with timings when we stopped for food as well as playing while we talked and recovered between dances"

"Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "Thank you for getting in touch. It really was a perfect day. From the acoustic trio to start things off, through the entire evening the music was fantastic. We really want to thank you guys for being so flexible with the schedule for the evening as I know it was an uncommon format. Everyone we spoke to, of all ages, raved about the band. Rachel and the guys really tied the night together creating the perfect tone throughout and really understood the kind of music we wanted. Thank you for the great night and we'll pass on any photos we get. Becca and Adam"

"What a fantastic night! This band absolutely smashed it! Great tunes, great musicians, great bunch of guys - so professional. Elevated the night from good to amazing, everyone was on the dance floor - we will be doing it all over again. Looking forward to booking them for our 30th anniversary at the end of the year. Thanks boys, you were magnificent!"

"Having been set the challenge of playing completely unplugged in a wild camping venue for a 40th birthday celebration, The Blue Suede Shoes duo completely delivered. Great communication prior to the event, fantastic music, both in choice of song and standard of performance, they had the 30-40 something crowd all dancing and wanting more at the end - there were even offers of sleeping bags and breakfast! would absolutely recommend these guys for any function. "Jess and The Red Hot Rags were amazing. Having planned an small private event for my Father in Law that had to be postponed due to Covid we were delighted to reorganise an outdoor, social distancing event for today. The Red Hot Rags played wonderful music and made a man whose health is rapidly fading very very Happy. I can't thank them enough for all they have done and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much"
