"The Band was superb in guiding us through the preparation for its gig - our wedding reception no less - not least of all in its patience with our frequent delays in getting back with requested information! We asked for a "Dublin/ Temple Bar" feel to the gig and that is what we got in spades. We have no doubt that the Band would have presented other music styles equally as well. Our 80 plus guests loved the performance, as did the 10 or so staff at the reception venue. The manager of our local folk club booked the Band - taking its details that very same night - for a club performance at date to be arranged. The Band's fee for the evening was very competitive for the performance and the help we were given in its preparation. The Band arrived in good time, set up quickly and demobilised swiftly and tidily. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Vincent McLaughlin’s Birthday Ceilidh – November 2025 We had a lovely evening which was made possible by the brilliance of the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio. Everyone thought their musicianship was excellent and the caller was very good at helping get people dancing. From young to old everyone had a great evening."

"The band were excellent lots of my friends commented how much they enjoyed them. They were very flexible and played two additional sets that helped create an atmosphere that my friends did not want to leave. The band had everyone dancing from the first song to the last one four hours later."

"Clint was great from start to finish. Arrived on time, set up whilst playing music, set the vibe and then got the crowd going. Everyone was on their feet at the end having a great night. I got lots of compliments on Clint’s performance. Thanks again! "

"Stargazers were FANTASTIC. They kept the dance floor hot all night and our guests LOVED them. Such a friendly bunch of people too. Very understanding when timings ran a little late too. We’d recommend them to anyone!! "

"The Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio helped make our event go smoothly with great communication and punctual arrival. The music was well performed and great fun. The caller did a fantastic job of putting people at ease an encouraging lots of dancing and everyone had a great time. At our working event the next day, many attributed the positive mood and energy to the ceilidh the night before, so maybe it is the secret to successful strategy seminars?!"

"AMAZING BAND.. 10 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ So, so happy we choose The Haze to be the band to play for our wedding. We knew from previous reviews and the online videos that they were going to be good but we were blown away by just how good they were. The really made our wedding. Our guests have not stopped saying how good they were. Great musicians, fantastic vocals and great song choices. Cannot recommend..."
