"Huge thank you to you and the band for the brilliant performance at our wedding. Tupelo Honey was perfect (although I fear there will be limited opportunities for re-use for you!), I loved Sally Maclennane, it was great to see a lot of people who probably haven't danced in years hit the dance floor, and Nicole particularly enjoyed being the guest drummer on Mustang Sally. We had a lot of people saying how excellent the band was."

"What can I say? The band was brilliant. Great vocals from Johnny, ably supported by Mike on fiddle and Eddy on accordion. By the end of the night everyone was dancing and calling for more. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Judy and Jenny’s 80th Birthday Ceilidh – February 2026 We hired Black Velvet Band to play for our joint 80th birthday celebration at our local golf club. We had a big range of age groups present, and the band and the caller seemed to hit the right spot to get the whole party going! Everyone present thoroughly enjoyed the evening."

"Whether you are a Blues Brothers fan or not, these guys will give you a brilliant night's entertainment. Slick, polished and professional. They had all my guests up dancing and singing along, and had to do 3 encores! All that, and then they DJ'd the rest of the night too - can't fault them - excellent."
