Review Centre: Covers Bands

"I booked the 6 piece band and DJ for my fathers 60th, I looked at many bands and struggled for choice. It just so happened a friend of mine had seen The Marvellous Motown Souls at a wedding. This prompted me to book and im so glad we did. Liz was professional from the start and not a detail was missed. On the evening Liz basically coordinated the evening. Making announcements and making the party flow smoothly. Our son and daughter wanted a go on the drums which was no problem and they played the tambourine too, having loads of fun. The DJ (James) was always happy for requests and made sure nothing was missed. We met beforehand and James asked if there is any music we like, we requested older music and then more dance songs to end the evening. We were handed glow sticks and the band finished with their 90s medley, then the DJ took over and carried on with a dance set which was brilliant. This band goes far beyond just playing some music. What a great set of people to have as part of your party. 110% recommended, you will not be disappointed."

"Despite the adverse weather conditions (snow and ice) the Golden Valentines turned up promptly, set up efficiently and gave a fabulous high quality performance with great music We really enjoyed the evening and dancing. The audience was mixed ages from 20 to 70+ but everyone knew the songs and were very happy with the selection and the performance The musicians were of a very high standard and it was great to have live music "

"From the moment we started watching their video clips, we knew that over the threshold were for us. They did not disappoint. From our first contact online to our last song. The band helped us make our day extra special. They nailed our live requests and the DJ sets covered our tastes. The acoustic set in the afternoon is highly recommended. Some quests commented " I asked him to play Blink and he just did it". All we can say is 10 out of 10. Thank you so much Cat & Mike"

"If you want to see a unique band, go see The Stun Gunz. It was the best night I have had in ages. I have seen lots of bands locally and they all play the same generic 80's ballads which have become tedious. The Stun Gunz are a breath of fresh air. That play a well balanced blend of music. To appeal to everyone in the crowd. Can't wait to the next gig."

"What can I say? DIVINE! Lovely vocals and keyboard accompaniment. Terrific variety of songs. Worked and interacted with the crowd in a terrific way. Could have listened to them for hours. Wherever they play, *DO* go see them. You will not be disappointed!"

"Saturday 15th July 2017 – Silver Wedding & 50th Birthday Celebration. We just wanted to thank you and the whole band for the fantastic music last weekend. We both really enjoyed the whole event and our guests all commented on how good Primed were, you catered for all music tastes across the wide range of ages we had attending our Silver wedding anniversary celebration. You got everyone up ‘rock and rolling’ and your set up and breakdown was done efficiently and we hope you all enjoyed the night as much as we all did. "We booked The Latin Inquisition as a two piece band to perform at our wedding reception. From the time of enquiry, the band were friendly, professional and efficient to communicate with. They provided us with a varied and extensive repertoire for us to select the songs we wanted them to play and even said they could learn and play a special request - they can now add 'Despacito' to their catalogue! Their song list is a mixture of well known popular English and Spanish songs adapted in their own unique style, along with a number of lesser known mainly instrumental tracks from Latin musicians - a nice balance. The band come fully equipped with their own PA system which they can fit in around whatever sound equipment is already there. They performed 2x45 mins sets and were absolutely brilliant! Musically the lads are extremely talented guitarists and excellent entertainers - and put out a big sound for a duo! The skill and talent required to play and sing in such a manner should not be underestimated - absolute professionals! They sounded amazing, very unique and we loved every minute of the performance and had a good old dance! Feedback from our guests was all positive - they're amazing musicians, and a very entertaining and original act to highly recommend. "
