Review Centre: Duos / Small Groups

"The Port Vale Foundation run sessions called The Golden Valliant's during the week to combat loneliness and isolation amongst other things in our local elderly community and we are always looking for ways to entertain our guests and try and put a smile on their faces with the things we do there. As a friend of the duo I thought it might be a nice idea to get Adele and Andy to perform for us, and perform for us they certainly did. For 45 minutes they captivated everyone in the room with their wonderful harmonies, polished musicianship and genuine charm of a couple very much 'in tune' with each other on and off the stage. Adele's vocals are so smooth and captivating and Andy's energy and professionalism made our time with them go far too quickly. A real treat was had by all at our session and hopefully we will be lucky enough to get them to come back again and perform for us."

"I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Sarah-Jane and her band performing at our retirement party. Everything about the Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutely fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank them enough for making our event such a wonderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! Thank you all so very, very much."

"Mira & Adam provided the perfect backdrop for my 40th party - such an eclectic age range of guests and they kept everyone happy! Amazing tunes and vocals & wish we could have kept on dancing all night - thank you guys for the music and memories! "I would like to say a massive thank you to you and the other ladies for a truly magical performance on my wedding day. I am very sorry that I didn't get the chance to come and say thank you in person- I was tied up taking endless photos with family and friends, but I did certainly enjoy it alot! You created a really romantic atmosphere, and I must say, I absolutely loved A thousand years by Christina Perri. It is one of my favourite songs and it was just beautiful!The guests also thoroughly enjoyed the music- thanks for keeping them entertained. All the best to you and thank you once again."

"We booked Eccentric Pony to perform at our wedding reception in September. They were absolutely astounding, and we are already trying to think of another reason for a party so we can book them again! Initially we booked Eccentric Pony to play two 45 minute sets, but then decided to ask them to supply the 'DJ' music too. Jimmy could not have been more helpful, and completely put our mind at rest that they would be sure to do all they could to help make our day special. And that is just what they did! The music was better than we dared to hope for, and they really got EVERYONE up on the dance floor, (even my 81 year old uncle!!). My wife and I can't recommend them highly enough, they were punctual, professional and went the extra mile to ensure we had the day we'd hoped for. We can't thank you enough. "

"I booked Flux Ensemble back at the start of 2024 for our May 2025 wedding and Martin’s communication has been brilliant from initial booking, up to and after the wedding. On the day they were absolutely fabulous and we have received so many compliments for them from our guests. The group were super friendly and even dressed to match our colour scheme! We were able to request songs from their extensive playlist and also managed to get a special arrangement for a new song to them. I would highly recommend Flux Ensemble for any events!"
