Review Centre: Duos / Small Groups

"The Port Vale Foundation run sessions called The Golden Valliant's during the week to combat loneliness and isolation amongst other things in our local elderly community and we are always looking for ways to entertain our guests and try and put a smile on their faces with the things we do there. As a friend of the duo I thought it might be a nice idea to get Adele and Andy to perform for us, and perform for us they certainly did. For 45 minutes they captivated everyone in the room with their wonderful harmonies, polished musicianship and genuine charm of a couple very much 'in tune' with each other on and off the stage. Adele's vocals are so smooth and captivating and Andy's energy and professionalism made our time with them go far too quickly. A real treat was had by all at our session and hopefully we will be lucky enough to get them to come back again and perform for us."

"We hired the BV's for our 'Party in the Park' festival in June 14. Despite the poor weather the band were 'instrumental'(!) in creating aa good party atmosphere and tailored their set list to suit all tastes. They have a great blend of classic swing band to modern pop and could be relied upon for a professional performance. Great job guys, thank you so much."

"Primed were a fantastic addition to our Wedding Day! They are brilliant musicians and were so professional. They communicated well before the day to organise the set list and first dance and it was so convenient having one of the band members DJ for us as well so the music was seamless. Our guests had a fantastic time and the dance floor wasn't empty all night. They had such a positive vibe that kept people on their feet. Ruth & Leo x"

"I just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding at Lulworth Castle, you guys were absolutely brilliant and were everything we had hoped for. You perfectly captured the mood of the day and everyone said how much they enjoyed the music and dancing along. I only wish Luke and I could have stayed longer to dance more! Luke and I are still so thrilled about our day and how perfect it was for us and your music at the reception drinks and in the evening played a huge part in making it just as we had imagined. I think two of your biggest fans are my grandparents who amazed me by not only lasting the whole night but also dancing on several occasions – my grandma called me up on Saturday to sing Chattanooga Choo Choo down the phone at me because she said she has been singing it every day since the wedding! "I hired these guys for my 30th birthday party as I am a big jazz enthusiast and boy did they deliver. It felt like a mixture of stepping into the past with their older repertoire and reliving the present with the newer stuff that they play. Great energy and stage presence as well. "I’m just back from honeymoon and at the earliest opportunity wanted to contact you regarding Primed who performed at our wedding. Its fair to say that our expectations were high (having seen the demo's!) - and that Primed exceeded them in every way! they were truly fantastic, very professional, yet relaxed and fun - the music was outstanding. They definitely got the party started and at numerous points in the evening I looked around to see EVERYONE on the dance floor! Their music and energy, and excellent song list, kept the party going well into the night (no easy feat when you're dealing with people who arrived at a wedding ceremony at 10.30 am and have been on their feet for 12 hours already!)  I would not hesitate to recommend primed - and would happily provided any reference you need - and am happy for you to use my comments above should you wish.
