Review Centre: Covers Bands

"I first saw LickSquid at a friends 30th and instantly knew I needed them at our wedding.....a month later. I contacted LickSquid on Facebook and Dan quickly replied. After giving Dan the date of the wedding they went away and looked at their schedules. Dan got back to me that day and said they could move some things about and would be happy to do it. As I already had a DJ I asked Licksquid if they would do one 45 minute set and an encore. Licksquid duly agreed and even asked me what song list I wanted. As I had seen Licksquid a week or so before I completely trusted them and told them to play what they wished. On the night Licksquid set up without me even knowing. The guys were so lovely and professional. They started their set and the music was amazing. The dance floor was packed and everyone loved them. I can honestly say the wedding would not have been the same without them. They brought a brilliant atmosphere and the whole process of booking, and communication with Licksquid was completely stress free. I would definitely book these guys again for future events. "Free Spirit played a range of music at our Neatherseal Community Group event.....the evening was a huge success with everyone up dancing and those that don't generally dance were cutting some fine moves!! Talented musicians and vocalists . Great evening. "

"Dealing with Lynette ahead of the event was a pleasure, she was very easy to talk to and make all of the arrangements with. It was a shame I didn't get to meet her on the day, however this was down to her and the team just getting on with the job, by following the information she had been given to get to the venue and where she needed to be, which on a busy event day is just what you need. Fantastically low maintenance! Reports from our guests were really positive, the music was perfect and was pitched at just the right volume to provide a lovely ambience for our lunch, without being intrusive."

"River Rhythms absolutely smashed it and read the crowd perfectly. The afternoon "acoustic" set was classy and great drinks accompaniment, while the two evening sets were amazing fun. The chaps were chilled out but professional. So many people commented on how good they were and the dance floor was full from start to finish."

"What a great night, was an amazing finish to a surprise party. Was a last minute decision and Big Skies were happy to reassure and be flexible. Somehow we managed to sneak the setup in and surprise the wife, it certainly made the party. The music was great, and they just dealt with it all for me, wouldn't hesitate to rebook. They even stayed for a burger, beer and a go on the rodeo :) Thank you and good luck "

"We recently hired The VIP Formula to perform at our garden party and they were brilliant! We felt a lot of chemistry from their videos online, but in person it was even better and the guys were incredible. They created so much energy and atmosphere; the guests were dancing nonstop. On top of all that, they are just really nice people and so easy to work with. We would highly highly recommend them."

"Absolute shout out to this amazing band...Wedding on 25/05 Come in set up completely organised and professional, stayed extremely incognito, great equipment range and all lovely lads. They were incredible, extremely versatile set list which pleased everyone. Brilliant musicians all around and great vocalist. To say we have all spoken about have great you were is 100% I would highly recommend this band!! Thanks guys and good luck on your travels."
