Review Centre: Covers Bands

"Alex and the band came to our venue at 6pn and set up ready for the 1st dance at 7pm. From them they played 2 sets and Managed the DJing in between. They were brilliant! From the start to the end the music they played was excellent and they sounded great. We had so many compliments from guests wanting to know who they were. I was in communications with Alex a few weeks prior to the wedding. he was happy to send me his set list but was also happy when I requested he not play some of the songs on the list. I told him I was into a certain band and he went out of his way to add that into the bands set list, which was brilliant. I cannot recommend them more. Thank you for everything, you were all amazing!"

"Can't praise these guys enough, went above expectations to make sure our day was special and stress free. Their varied set had all of our guests dancing and they were still shouting for more after 2 encores. Professional throughout,with great communication and punctuality. Highly recommended."

Your band created such a fun atmosphere and it was great to see the dancefloor packed all night! Even family members who typically 'never dance' were up dancing! Even a month after the wedding people are still commenting on how good you were and how much they enjoyed the wedding! So thank you all very much for making it such a special night! We were both really impressed at how professional and organised you were, and were were really pleased to hear that the hotel have asked you to be their house band! "Global Grooves were superb from start to finish, getting everyone up dancing and playing reggae and classic songs all the way through their set catering for all ages. They’re a talented band and very professional, I spoke to their manager prior to the wedding and we went through everything together on the phone to make sure we were getting the set we wanted, it’s the little things that can make all the difference. I highly recommend this band for any event. "

"We hired The Line Up to play at our wedding and were not disappointed. They arrived at our venue nice and early (a weight off any bride's mind!) and from start to finish were incredible. The music quality was fantastic with a great variation and they even learnt our first dance song for us. They even had a personalised sign at the front with our names and date which was very touching and made it seem very personal! Would highly recommend this band for anyone considering these guys for their wedding band! "
